Today happens to be a special day the whole world celebrates a lot. People from different parts of the world have special plans for today, and they do all they can to make their families happy.
In past years, on a day like today, the mall and ShopRite will be filled with so many young ones who will come around to enjoy life.
The mall has so many shops, restaurants, bars and many more, as the young ones troops in they visit those shops or restaurants.
Marketing plans.
Already I have my printed flyers which create much awareness about the spendhbd project, so with the mindset of how the shopping Mall and ShopRite used to be very busy on a day like today, I @kachy2022 thought it would be something good and productive to go in search for a shop to list and also people to sign up and demonstrate how they can shop, pay with hbd and get discount.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed when we got there. Everywhere was dry, and the financial system and economy of Nigeria had gotten so bad that people couldn't go out for leisure as they normally did, all we could see were cars packed with no one inside, and we felt so bad.
We thought we could meet some people at ShopRite, ShopRite is also very close to the leisure mall, so we quickly navigated to ShopRite.
On our way, we met with a lady who sells Ankara bags and other native items. We approached and explained our reasons for approaching, but she said she was not the owner of the shop and that the owner might not be interested, there was no customer to even practice what we were telling her.
We headed to ShopRite, but unfortunately, ShopRite was closed down for the day.
We thought about what next to do, and we decided to go in search of a coffee shop and see if we could get positive attention.
We headed to Arami Cafe, which is a coffee shop that sells good quality coffee, a very quiet and beautiful place, where people come and enjoy different types of coffee, including ice chocolate coffee ☕.
Getting there, we approached the beautiful receptionist and explained why we were there, she gave us a positive response, she was just the receptionist, and she gave us the Instagram handle of the business owner and encouraged us to tell her that she might be interested.
We also looked out for another coffee shop known as Tea and Coffee but unfortunately, they didn't open today because of the holiday; after the holiday, we will go back to meet them.
So we left, at that point, we were hungry and exhausted, so we headed home.
Assisting Newbies for shopping.
On our way home, @beccatessy2 and @emiliashley338 called to inform me that they wanted to shop at Bokku-mart, but they were facing some challenges, and they needed additional HBD to get all they needed at Bokku-mart; despite being exhausted, I had to go all the way to assist them and the transaction was smooth and simple.
So Finally they were able to get all they wanted and I decided to get a bottle of wine for myself, to help me calm my stress nerves.

Despite that, I am so exhausted and couldn't sign up anyone or list a shop but am happy that I spoke to people about #spendhbd project.
