Today is the day!! After days of being in expectance, it's Shokin day 5!!
I have resolved never to miss this experience for anything, and here we are for another SpendHBD experience, but this time with lots of Hive shoppers. I've missed several meetups due to engagements that I couldn't just wave away.
On my last spendHBD post, I made it clear that I would be onboarding a newbie and so did I. @Saraliko my very good friend was the one. It's not worth it earning from something alone when those close to you could easily gain from the opportunity. I decided to tell my friend about this initiative for several reasons but I'll like to talk about one of those, and that is his experience in crypto. I know it would be very easy for him to understand the process since he already own the Hive coin in his wallet.
Wisdom my friend was eager to join already after I showed him from my device how great the Hive community is and the mouth watering discounts I received from the @distriator during my last purchase.
OUR EXPERIENCE
Very early in the morning, I put on my SpendHBD T-shirt, ready for shokin day 5, we headed to the office for @saraliko's onboarding. While we waited for other shoppers to arrive, I helped him set up his account by downloading the needed applications, with the Hive Keychain included. As expected
other HBD shoppers arrived, and those who cared took pictures. Of course, I cared!!
One of the people that got onboarded today was #jubbymike, a friend I told about HIVE some months back. He couldn't join then due to some situations beyond his control. I'm happy my friend @ugoglory who happened to be his friend too was able to make him see reasons to join the Hive community.
SHOKIN DAY 5
Finally we arrived my favourite supermarket, God's Own Supermarket. Many other shoppers were already there making purchases and claiming discounts from the distriator. I was happy to help some newbies scan the QR code from the Hive keychain for their purchases and to claim discounts from the distriator. I dropped the video here so anyone who wasn't present could see us during the exercise.

I bought a loaf of bread, a drink and a toothbrush. I also made sure my @saraliko bought things, you could see the joy on his face when @thedistriator gave him a discount.
I was also delighted to meet other hive shoppers like @yummycruz1, @madilyn02, @Iamchimary, @adazion, @bummblebee, @michael700 and others. My sister @debbydaniels came too. it was fun at God's own supermarket! We took pictures for sure.
After shopping, I and @saraliko boarded a tricycle to Real communications, a shop that sells phone accessories. it is another SpendHBD listed shop. We got our phone screen guards changed since the old ones were no longer good enough. We sure paid with HBD and claimed our discounts from the distriator.
IN CONCLUSION
I can say for sure, today was well spent, although it's HBD that got to be spent. I love this day!! I'm already longing for my next @SpendHBD experience. I will always be grateful to the @SpendHBD Team Throughout my stay in HIVE. I LOVE SpendHBD, I LOVE HIVE!!
