I haven't shopped for sometime now, since I've been home for days. Today I made up my mind to make at least one transaction before the day runs out and time for lunch came, I just knew what to do. Since I was already on my way back home, we closed quite early, I decided to head to one of the closest listed business place to grab some snacks. Everything was going well, till it was time to claim my discount on @distriator? A hectic activity. I didn’t get to claim any discount, and trust me, I was really looking forward to it. You know how we’re always excited to spend our HBD and grab those sweet deals? Well, not today.
As soon as I logged in, everything started acting some funny drama. The server just wasn’t having it. Pages kept freezing, loading forever, or throwing me back out. I thought it was my network acting up, so I switched networks. Then switched again. And again. At some point while was still bent on blaming the problem on my internet connection, I have to ask the shop owner to connect me to her Wi-Fi so I can claim my discount and be on my way. When did , I was happy partially because of my high hopes, everything finally going to fall into place but no, nothing happened. That was when I realized it wasn’t the network.Additionally, I was ready to show a friend (a potential newbie, by the way) how the distriator worked after explaining to him all about the @spendhbd community. He picked interest after he saw me replying to the post of one of the shoppers in my city. He asked a lot of questions, which I didn't sweat to answer. But the problem began while I wanted to show him practically on the distriator.
What was meant to be a quick shopping session turned into a full-blown frustration fest. I wasted so much time refreshing and waiting. Imagine hyping up the system to someone only for it to completely disappoint. My friend was tired as the same time from all the back and forth but I assured him it hasn't always been like that. Thankfully, he understood it to be some some sort of technical issues and I gave him hope it will be fixed in subsequent transactions.
We eventually gave up. I couldn’t even claim the discounts I wanted, and my friend? Well, let’s just say I owe them a proper walkthrough once things are working. I told them to try again tomorrow. Getting home, I reached out to some other active shoppers and asked if they had any trouble claiming their discounts today while shopping and they affirmed.. I knew then that it was a general problem most people who tried shopping today might have faced so I calmed my nerves. I know we still have the chance to reclaim those discounts we missed today so there's no need for any panic. Hopefully, the server issues will get sorted out by the next time we resume shopping to let us enjoy the smooth user experience we used to have while using distriator.

I also experienced same issue after shopping 😁, it's so funny because I would have noticed that there was no recent shopping post, I was just too busy to notice.
