Mentorship And Preparations For SHOKiN Day 15

One thing that gets me everytime is seeing the excitement from newbies as they make their first purchases and claims. After the first time of spending HBD, it's like a new surge of energy starts flowing through them like can we do this everyday?. I've had that experience mentoring someone from my workplace. Ever since she made her first purchases with HBD and claimed from the distriator, I haven't taken a breath from her. She's also asking when can I go again, will my discounts stop if I make another purchase and stuff like that.

Few days ago, she requested that we visit one of the listed restaurants close to the office so that she can get some lunch. I quickly transferred some HBD to he r account and went. She was very excited, that she couldn't even wait to scan and claim her discount. The first time she made a purchase, I was the one who helped her to find her way around the distriator. But this time, she didn't forget.Coincidentally, we also met some of our dear friends who also came to have their lunch at the restaurant and of course, camera clicks

Throughout this week, friends from Hive have been reaching out to me on Discord asking me how they can go about spending HBD. Apparently some of them live in states where there are no local guides or listed businesses. After explaining to them, they agreed to come down to Abia state to get a first hand experience on how to join the movement and I'll be so happy to mentor them. This is proof that the community is gaining more recognition and thanks to the infographic contest organised recently, so many people have heard a word or two about the community from it.

Let's all keep doing our best for the community from this new month and beyond!Today is another big day for the SHOKIN team, where we go out and bring people's attention to the community. It's day 15 and we've made our arrangements to go visit @crunchies for the second time. We're all looking forward to it and hopefully some more newbies will join and we'll all have a chance to spend HBD even more.

The first month of the year has come and gone with the @spendhbd community thriving ever rapidly. More businesses and people joining the flow, more discounts and happy faces radiating from the journey. I'm particularly happy with the way my country Nigeria is taking up the entire project with much zeal and enthusiasm. The monthly stat just came up from the @distriator and it's so fulfilling to see that Nigeria is making it's way up the chart. The active shoppers who are constantly making their purchases didn't go unnoticed, most listed businesses over here also made it up the chart. It's a satisfying thing to see that everyone in the community is doing their best to make the best of this wonderful project.
