An organized workshop was hosted at Happy Customer Supermarket by @fokusnow. Ever since its launching, this was the first ever organized workshop to create more awareness for the spendhbd community. Before the day of the workshop, some marketing strategies were carried out in order help reach more people. A lot of people still don't know that a supermarket that accepts HBD has been started over here. To do that, @fokusnow had to create a page on Facebook and also run some Meta Ads too. On my own part I shared some of the posts from the supermarket's Facebook page and on my Facebook story too, for more audience.

That move yielded some positive results, most of my friends asked a lot of questions about the supermarket and and the community itself. Others too shared the posts in their timeline for others to see. We announced the upcoming workshops and most people showed interest.
We also helped share some fliers to people who pass by on the road. Every customer that walks into the supermarket is handed some fliers, because a lot of them also wanted to invite their friends who didn't know about the spendhbd community. The supermarket T-shirt also helped in the marketing process. I had a few people stop me on the way to ask me what the supermarket was about and how they could buy things with HBD.
I used the opportunity to invite them for the workshop that happened yesterday. It was a maximum turnout of people especially our friends from Facebook. The workshop started with a presentation from @fokusnow who explained to the max, what the community was all about and how potential customers stand a chance to earn passive income just by shopping.
In the audience we had people who had some basic knowledge about crypto and those you didn't. After the presentation, questions were entertained and were all answered. In the end we had a total 8 persons who downloaded the Hive keychain and created a Hive account. A lot of them made their first transactions immediately and were so happy to get their cashbacks at a blink of an eye.
I had the pleasure in assisting the finding their way around the distriator web. I also created an account for one of the attendees, who came for the workshop. We had some people who didn't come so prepared, some didn't have their phones with them, but they promised to come back another day to finish up.
For those who made their first transactions, it was a moment of and they couldn't hide it. We took a couple of group pictures of everyone who attended. After the workshop ended, we still had many more people who came afterwards, those who heard about the supermarket from friends and those who saw the ad on Facebook. We still had to explain to these ones, in fact we did a lot of explaining till evening.
The workshop was nothing more than a success and seeing the supermarket has had transactions of up to 169HBD just in this March proves that the efforts is indeed worth it. Even thought the news of the workshop was a bit impromptu, people still showed up and made it work. We hope to do more marketing and gain the interests of the much people we can. Appreciating the spendhbd community, the distriator and @fokusnow for all they do to grow the community.
It was a massive workshop. We spent resources creating awareness for event and happily, many were on hand to enjoy the occasion. I appreciate your efforts in helping set up accounts and mentor the newbies. Am sure our network workshop will be huge
Let's keep the drive going with all all our efforts. The results are worth it! Soon enough, we'll have more people joining than ever before.
The turn up was massive from interested new ones who came to be onboarded for the discount. The resources put in paid out well.
This is really great work. If HBD can be used to make purchases and promote and expand it, then it is undoubtedly good for our ecosystem. I appreciate your work.
