The long awaited SHOKiN Day 7 has come and gone , and it was exciting one for us! As part of our goal to spend HBD and onboard new users, we continue to use group shopping as a fun way to promote awareness among the general public. This time, we decided to visit a new business listed by our local guide. We went to Chicken Republic, a well-known restaurant and fast food chain with branches all over Nigeria.
Chicken Republic is famous for its excellent staff, always ready to serve, and its exquisite meals, which include both local and intercontinental dishes. Their locations are always at busy and strategic spots, attracting lots of people. We were thrilled to have our group meetup here!
Since today is Saturday, we planned our meetup for earlier in the morning to give everyone enough time to attend and still carry out their other activities for the day. Many of our amazing members showed up early at the location. The likes of @bakinba, @brainbrian, @fokusnow, @mayorboo, @amankalu, @nellybestie, @ugogloria, and @saraliko were present to kick things off.
When we arrived, the first thing we did was check out the menu. It was full of mouth-watering options like jollof rice, fried rice, rice with stew, coleslaw, and different types of drinks. These dishes are some of their most popular meals, and we couldn’t wait to dig in.
While waiting for our order, we had so much fun taking lots of pictures and sharing laughs. Finally, our food was served. The main highlight of our day was using Hive Keychain to make payments with HBD and claim discounts using the distriator. This is always the best part of our group shopping experience because it shows the beauty of using HBD for everyday activities.

The festive season is already in full swing, so it wasn’t a surprise to see the fast food place filled with people. Some were there to share happy moments with their loved ones, while others just wanted to grab a quick meal. No matter the reason, the atmosphere was lively, and the staff handled everything with a smile.
More members of our team arrived later, like @yummycruz, @madilyn02, @marajah, and others who came along with her. The excitement kept building as our group grew larger.
As always, it wasn’t just about the food—it was about sharing happiness and creating lasting memories. Everyone was cheerful, and the energy was contagious. We laughed, took more pictures, and enjoyed every bit of the time spent together.
Moments like these remind us why the Spend HBD community is so special. Each shopping day becomes more exciting, and it’s amazing to see how much fun we can have while promoting something meaningful.
As SHOKiN Day 7 comes to an end, we are already looking forward to the next one. We plan to keep doing this for as long as we can because it brings us closer as a community and helps us spread the word about HBD in a fun and practical way.
