Today's Shokin day 8 was my first attendance of ShoKin, a weekly event when hivers collectively shop at a selected place and today's event took place at Tiger bar, an open lounge located opposite Dr Ogbonnaya Onu polythecnic along Aba-Owerri road in Aba, Nigeria.
About Tiger bar.
Tiger bar is an open lounge bar owned by Nigerian breweries plc and operated by a private company on lease. It is built on about 4 plots of land and has three open shades with seats for customers and also has a stage for live shows.
And a grill spot for fish barbecue spot, It also has two big viewing screen for entertainment like football matches and movies.
The Stage.
There are beautifully paved walk ways for easy connection to the open shades and for smooth walking around the entire area.
My Experience.
Like i said earlier about today being my first attendance to Shokin events and i must say that it was worthwhile, it made me to regret my absence from the previous editions. I arrived at the center at around 1:00 pm and on arrival i saw other excited hivers already seated in three groups in one of the open shades i mentioned earlier. I exchange greetings with the first group comprising of
And second group comprising of
And also the third group also comprising of
After exchanging pleasantries with everyone, i took a seat from one of the arranged seats in the open shade and sat with the first group, and was warmly welcomed by them.
Immediately i sat down, i requested for the menu from the waiter and it was given, and i ordered for a plate of pepper soup made with local spices and beef meat.
The most important and joyous part of today's event was when i paid for what i ordered for, a receipt was generated through the hive keychain app and i made my payment and claimed my 20% discount @distriator.com.
The gathering was so exciting as we shared ideas on how to spread the news about spendhbd peoject and hive ecosystem. And to reward those who attended today's event, @fokusnow gave out free Spendhbd branded fez cap to everyone.
Afterwards, we all gathered together and took group pictures and selfies and had fun. Truly, ShoKin events have proven that it's fun to spend and earn as a group.
Finally, we all departed the venue. It was really fun today at ShoKin day 8 at Tiger bar.
