Its another busy day of SpendHBD activity and promotion. To be honest, it was not my original plan for today to mentor a newbie and have others join us for a group shopping activity, but that was how I end up spending my day. Of course to properly lead a group, one has to adjust to circumstances and provide immediate needs of everyone.
The most important aspect of todays activity is that there are a total of 4 newbies that joined. They are:
Mentorship of @debbydaniels and shopping
Its always a pleasure to help onboard a.newbie to spendHBD community. @brainbrian brought her sister to my office around 10am and she needed to learn more about Hive and SpemdHBD before joining. I took my time to explain why Hive is such a unique content publishing platform and why it is different from traditional social media. I also explained basic concepts that she needs to understand loke voting and rewards. I also explained what SpemdHBD is all about and why she has a great opportunity to join.
I took a few questions from the newbie before I signed her up. I also encouraged her to go to the nearest supermarket with us to experience the discounts system from spendHBD. But that was after I helped her create an account and set up her profile using Ecency and access her wallet through Hive keychain. I also helped her get the HBD to do her first transaction.
We later went to God's own supermarket where she bought some items and learnt how to scan the QR code to pay and later claimed her discounts. I am happy to also see that she has done her introduction post after a few hours. You can see the article here
God's own supermarket saw a huge flow of friends because earlier in the day, I went to the place with @iamchimary, @empressjay and @figgyqcademy101 who also brought a newbie that learned and about hive amd made her first transaction. Her username is @iamllachisom. They all shopped and I helped provide some of the HBD they need to fund their wallets. But towards the time I should leave the supermarket, I saw a good number of users walk into the supermarket led by @yummycruz1 and @madilyn02.
More signups and shopping at God's Own
While I was still at God's own supermarket, the friends came in. They were shown the way by @madily02 and @yummycruz1. Interestingly they have 2 newbies in their midst. Its great to see these two hardworking young ladies make effort to bring their friends along whenever they come shopping. Everyone started shopping and the newbies also picked stuffs and paid with HBD. They witnessed firsthand how the spendHBD project works and they were all happy at the end of the day. It took the entire group a while to finish up the shopping activity and we all took photos. At the end, many friends came to shop at God' own supermarket at various times of the day. I was present to assist them especially providing HBD for some of the transactions. Apart from those mentioned above, others that came to shop includes:

Conclusion
SpendHBD is here to stay and we are pushing this project with all our resources. I thank all the friends that came today to shop even though it was not a planned group shopping activity. It was fun and the networking is really creating positive vibes among the group. Always invite your friends and let them join this project and you wint regret.
