An amazing outreach today saw new users get to learn about SpendHBD, instant cash discounts and the new way of earning from paying bills. It was the first SpendHBD workshop organized and presented at Happy Customer Supermarket. Below is a summary of the interesting stats:

The stats above already speak volumes about the potential of Happy Customer Supermarket in driving the adoption of HBD in this part of the world. More on that later, for now some details about the workshop.
Creating awareness for the workshop
I did two different Facebook sponsored Ads for three days to create awareness for this workshop. Interestingly, more than 20 persons asked questions about the campaigns. If you wish to check how each ad campaign looks like, I will share the facebook links below:

Despite that the ad timing in relation to the workshop did not give much time, 7 new persons attended and I was super grateful for their response. The new users are as follows:

I used the slide from SpendHBD to make the presentation.
I started from explaining the idea behind spendHBD and web3. Then I explained how HBD as a feeless, fast and peer-to-peer stablecoin is driving the revolution in spending. It was really an eye-opener for the new friends in attendance to learn that its possible to pay for purchases with crypto and still get rewards at the same time.
As you can see in this clip below, I was explaining how the Hive keychain wallet could be a powerful tool for settling bills while earning crypto rewards.

Everyone in attendance quickly downloaded the app. At the end of the presentation, I helped each person sign up a Hive account using SpendHBD registration portal. Of course, I also made sure to provide the HBD needed by each newbie to pay for their purchases and claim discounts. It was such a great experience that many of the new friends promised to come back in few days with other people that will definitely love the discounts.
At the end if the presentation, shopping, paying and claiming discounts, we took group pictures with everyone in attendance. It was indeed a great first experience for the 7 new people that came. I am super sure that the experience remains an unforgettable one. The project will continue to grow and expand with time. We snapped sone pictures to create memories of.this event. This month of March could be one for setting and breaking of records. If you look at the chart above, you will find out that in just the first week of March, we are nearly approaching the numbers for the two weeks in February. We already have customers spend 169 HBD. If this momentum could somehow be maintained, then we might end our first full month in high numbers.

All the new friends bought Hive with fiat. They had zero rewards because their accounts were created today. So yes, the more people we bring, the more hive they buy and the pressure is surely healthy for the price of Hive and HBD.
