Many things are always better done as a team and that includes shopping. When done with friends, shopping is fun as the group discover new products, compare prices and evaluate brands. Our group Shopping activity called ShoKiN happened although I have been away for 5 days now.
My travel - and still ShoKiN
Because of my recent travel, it was always going to be a challenge to hold the group shopping activity today. I came back late yesterday (Sunday) and didnt create any awareness about our shopping activity today. It was only very early today that I announced that there will be shopping activity.
Some friends did turn up for the group shopping event. Below are those that attended including two newbies

Because of the lack of proper awareness created, not all the people above came together. We were just 4 persons that arrived at my office ready to do the group shopping. The remaining people came a little later and still, I took them to do their shopping. At the end, it was still fun.
Shopping at God's Own Supermarket
After discussing a little at my office, we went together to the closest place to shop. That happens to be Gods own supermarket. It is a walking distance from my office - about 10 minutes.
Once we got their, each person went and picked what they liked to buy. Its a mid-sized supermarket and many of the things each person wanted to buy is there. Everyone picked and the store owner generated receipts for them. They all paid and claimed their discounts. I joined them in taking some pictures which you can see below.
Planning the new week
A lot will happen in the new week which needs proper preparation and planning. There are new shops that I will like to list. Its important to increase the number of listed businesses as that will make it easy for friends to shop wherever is closest to their home.
Some of the members are also interested to have foodstuff businesses listed. Food items are the most popular and frequently shopped items. So I will find a way to list foodstuff dealers and get them involved in the project. That way, it will be easy to buy foodstuffs and get discounts.
The year is also about to end and I need to plan the last big meetup of Hive users in the city. This meetup would be SpendHBD branded. We will need lots of printed materials like Tshirt, fliers and other things. The meetup will likely happen sometime this month. So I will plan it too.
Our last week's contest results have not been announced too. That is another thing I will like to arrange. I will do that as soon as possible and announce a fresh contest to keep the friends shopping more motivated. Look out for that in the next post.
There are other things am planning to do to expand SpendHBD in Nigeria. I will be working on them fast. So its going to be a really busy week and month. I encourage our friends to support this project and Spend more to earn more. And always stay tuned to this channel for more information regarding local arrangements to promote SpendHBD in Aba and Nigeria.

If is posseble to get some arrangements too,at this Arairia market ;also fine,It is another way of indroduceing what we are into,You will find that some of this traders who don"t have time to listing to Radio etc ,will hear and join us.
Weldone my Mentor, like you said there is need to list more shops so that everyone can shop where is closer to his or house, good job.
