This progress report is to provide an update on spendHBD project, initiative which aims to profer solution to every one and help more people to know hive and join hive. Help business owners to make more sales and help customers to earn more reward as they shop each day.
This spendHBD project started in Uyo on the first day of January 2025. It was that day that I went to Tangsio Radio station to officially announce it to all in Uyo,Akwa Ibom state. It was really a good start as so many people heard about spendHBD and hive. That lead to 2 days Workshop which was fruitful despite the season of new year. Since then we have recorded lots of progress on spendHBD.
Over the period of 14 days, significant progress has been made over the workshop,yes we had the workshop last week which I called week2 workshop in Uyo. I have listed 5 businesses on distrator app who merit the requirements. Below are those business names.

They deal on all women hair, body lotion, relaxer and what have you.
Ekamimi provision store
Although is a small provision store, her love for spendhbd was so amazing that people around want to know what HBD is. Since her shop was registered, she has increased goods in her shop and is willing to grow the shop so that we can buy whatever we need in her shop. I remembered the first day we shop there, she was amazed to receive her money in block and that helped her to buy more. She said, I never make this kind of sales at a time before. All this is because of spendHBD.
Juliet Nnenna Foodstuffs
Another powerful woman and her Son who is a crypto guru accepted HBD without looking back. The listing of their shop has motivated so many Market women to approach me and ask, what is HBD?
Anstum Global Ventures
The last but not the least was listed yesterday. I am planning for a workshop in his business center. His shop is a little bit far from where I stay so workshop there will help him invite all his customers for training on how to shop with HBD.

At first it was like a theory to me. I watched video sent to me by @fokusnow several times to understand how to shop with HBD. I read post made by @distriator over times but still,I was afraid if I can handle this task. With God's help today, I can shop with HBD and help others to do so.

Challenges for this 14 days
In this past 14 days, I have faced challenges like, after creating account for an interested person, he will not make himself available to learn how to write or how to shop. Some will tell you it is a scam. I had the opportunity to introduce spendHBD to PA of civil defense in Uyo and SCO said to me, madam leave that thing it is scam. As long as it is online, it is a scam. He continued by saying, stop discieving yourself. Many too are not open to learning new things or to new opportunities.
Another challenge is meeting the owner of a business or his manager so that I can explain spendHBD to them. Sometimes in some shops, customers are interested but shop owner is still checking if it is real, reason is that, the only currency they know is Naira so they are skeptical about the thing.
Some too does not want to hear crypto let alone collecting as means of payment. Here call for a lot of explanation and explanation for them to understand what HBD is that it is real money with high value than naira.
Way forward
My main goal now is to educate both shop owners and customers. Creating awareness about spendHBD just started. This week, my target is to list more 4 shops, resturants and supermarkets. I have that feeling that those I visited will list their shops soon. I also want to increase my team by assisting new and old to shop with HBD. For example @exellency and @adajah are not really doing well in spendHBD because of their phone. They are planning to buy new phone to increase their consistency on hive.
Conclusion
This report provided an overview of what we did for the past 14 days. Our achievement, challenges and way forward. I also highlighted the focus thins week and how to achieve them. I want to appreciate all active and passive one.
