It was another evening of fun and spending. We had planned a shopping day with the group at a grocery or cosmetic shop. But as discussions ensued a comment came up about going to a bar as I had not experienced HBD spending at a bar but had seen other hivers having their bar outings in their own areas. I thought it would be fun to go to a bar and have a sitout as well. A vote was taken to know if most people would like to go to the bar or just shop at the grocery and cosmetics store. Most voted for the bar, yay! We were going to have some more HBD fun!
A location was debated upon. Some group members had various suggestions as to which one to go. After some deliberations one bar was chosen and we all planned to meet up at a point and move together. Out local guide @Beauty197 and three other people got to the location first. It was nothing to write home about as we learned. The place was dingy and didn't look like we could have the fun we wanted there.
I called @anicon-cern5 who had gone to work that day and we agreed to meet up at a point in aguda. We met up and at the agreed place and headed towards the chosen bar only to meet the other group coming back towards us. We all started off together to find a new location as the ones submitted by group members were not desirable or available for use at the moment. We found a nice spot which was an eatery and a lounge but we noticed it was quite small and not where we had pictured we would be hanging out, though it was a cozy place. We thanked the person in charge and set off to another bar. There were quite a few on Adetola aguda where we were scouting so we got one really close by and it was exactly what we all wanted. It is called @Devillahotbar
Excited at getting a better location, we all looked around to pick a nice spot to sit, eat, drink and take snap shots. @beauty197 went to discuss with the manager about HBD while we settled in. He was happy to have us and welcomed us all. The location is a nice spot for get togethers or other small events. They had assorted drinks from malt drinks, beers, wines and other drinks. They also had barbecue meat, pepper soups and other foods on their menu.
We sat and were approached by the waiters who we gave our orders. While waiting for them, we discussed about the Hive project. I particularly had some questions to ask as to how to really be consistent with activities on hive and how to navigate the site to be able to carry out other activities there in. I got some help from @kachy and @beauty197 who mentioned ways to build momentum and consistency on hive. Others had other questions to ask and we all benefitted fully. The hive network really help us to thrive and bring out in us something that we would not believe we could do. I am so excited for this.
We had a nice sitout, had drinks and ordered for peppered goat meat also know as 'asun'. It was really tasty and i ordered for another plate with a bottle of malt drink and water. I thought I'd order for more after sometime as it was very tasty and nicely spiced. At this point the music came up and we started enjoying some nice jamz while eating and drinking.
@beauty listed the bar and we all did our transactions with HBD except @anicon-cern5 who for some unknown reason found it difficult to do her transaction. We tried different ways to get it done but after taking pictures, uploading at distriator became a big issue as I saw. We continued to try to get it done even logging into another device but it just would not upload. All of a sudden @beauty noticed it was working and we all at the same time started dancing for joy. The whole transactions were complete and we continued with the fun.
We danced for a while and I even saw an old friend who I had not seen in a long time. We exchanged pleasantries and did a brief catch up and it was time to go. Thanks to @devillahotbar for having us. Thanks to @distriator for making our sitout worthwhile.
We waved goodbye to one another and headed home. It was so much fun and I was really exhausted. I did some cooking for the family, we had dinner and I went to bed. Another lovely HBD outing done and dusted.
