Yesterday evening was another exciting shopping evening with our mentor and other friends. I was looking forward to another shopping day with HBD because I had some things to buy as we were running out of groceries at home. We had received the the memo on the WhatsApp group about the outing for later in the evening at Chiefo Mart by our mentor @beauty197. But I was so swamped that I didn't get to see the messages at all. It was when @beauty197 called that I quickly put aside what I was doing and rushed out to join them @chiefo mart. I had to ro walk a distance because I didn't get our regular okada as the commercial bikes are called over here. Finally I got one and headed quickly to our shop for the day.
The faces I met were familiar ones as we had gone on other HBD outings before except a newbie @ozibaby who just got onboarded yesterday. She was quite pleasant and clearly excited to join the HBD team present. She asked if it was my first time too and I told her it wasn't. We later took some pictures together. I got my shopping basket and started with my shopping. It was my first time shopping at Chiefo mart with HBD. I had a list of items I needed from toiletries to other household items and groceries.
After getting some items, I discovered that some of their prices were more than what i'd normally get so I had to leave off some items as they were too pricey. They didn't have a few items on my list too. We paid with the hive dollars and moved out of the shop. Our guide @beauty197 had to complete registering the newbie @ozibaby and made all transactions. We had some group pictures but I still needed some stuff so I told @beauty197 that we should go to another shop bokku mart and she kindly obliged. @beccatessy also needed some items that were not available at Chiefo mart and she joined us to another shop.
We found our way to the bus stop where we boarded a bus. The driver greeted us cheerily and went ahead to tell us to support his craft online. He said he was a comedian and had made many funny video that would interest us. He showed us his name and social media handles pasted at the front of his bus and asked that we kindly follow and engage his videos. I found his marketing strategy quite interesting from the way he greeted ua calling is pretty damsels to the way he appealed with us to support his craft with our following on social media. We dropped off at our bus stop and headed into Bokku mart.
At Bokku-Mart I bought the items unavailable at chiefo mart and even the other items that were now affordable. We paid with our Hive dollars as usual sorted out our stuff and headed home on a bike also known as okada.
I enjoyed today's shopping experience so much because I had bought a lot more and got all I needed. Not to forget our amazing discounts! Thanks a bunch @distriator! Looking forward to the next shopping experience with HBD
