Good day everyone!
Please permit me to relate my beautiful experience participating in SHOKING for the first time.
It was indeed a very interesting outing with wonderful people. I started as a simple conversation with a friend who briefed me about the SHOKIN project with was aimed at prompting the use of HBD toking via the SpendHbd campaign currently on going in Nigeria and offcus other part of the world.
It didn't take me much time to understand and appreciate the idea behind the campaign and hence I immediately decided to be part of it.
Even those I had my fears such as not having enough funds at the moment to purchase at much as I would have love to I was encouraged to still be part of the ShokiN day 14 which I eventually attended.
I got to the venue 'Classic kitchen' located at #64 St Michael's road Aba in Abia State Nigeria . It was quite a serene environment form the outside view to the beautiful and welcoming atmosphere inside.
I immediately praised our local guild @fukusnow for selecting and listing Classic kitchen for shopping.
As at the time of my arrival a few shoppers were already there , I particularly noticed they were having nice discussions and smiling at each other, I went round to greet them and I liked there reception.
After a moment of chat with friends I couldn't wait as started taking pictures of the beautiful paintings that characterized the inside view of Classic kitchen, every thing was well arranged and kept it there correct position, from the well arranged sitting positions to the air condition system that was working very well as well as there giant plasma television .
I had a swear time discussing with may very close friend who was part of my motivation for coming today. We talked at length about the Hive project we were both introduced to months ago but didn't take serious steps to be part of it then.
Even though we counted our loses for not hopping on the train then we were grateful we started after all with the ShokiN project and here we are today very spirited. He was surprised when i mentioned to him that I had little or no money to shop but I just wanted to be here at least.
Shout out to @fukusnow and @sammyhive for showing us this great opportunity then.
It didn't take long when others started coming and within a short time the venue was filled .
and others joined much later.
It was indeed a good show of kindness.

I was happy to see @jeodaddy1 as we had a very warm discussion together reminiscing old memories and talking talking about the SpendHbd campaign, I learned from his experience and told me I was fully part of it going forward.
I was filled with smiles when he promised he was going to pay for me lunch and as if that was not enough @brainbrain said he was going to buy me drink hence the reason am writing this post, once more I really appreciate @jeodaddy1 and @brainbrain for there generosity.
I was asked what my motivation for coming around was and I mentioned among other reasons that the Hive project and especially the SpendHbd campaign was something I can easily relate with, I also appreciated @fokusnow and @sammyhive for their mentoring and helping me appreciate more the whole Hive project, I'll always be grateful to them for the support.
After much chatting we faced the business of the day which was the day 14 shokiN shopping.
They started taking our orders when I stepped forward to take a look at there menue for a better choice of meal as seen below.
Its didn't take long and what we ordered started coming, we were okey with the meals and hence all agreed the money we paid for the meal was worth it.
We all enjoyed our meal as we ate and had a nice time together.
It was time for the group pictures and could fell the excitement on every one's face as we all took group pictures together as we as taking personal pictures with other, it was indeed a day well spent as i look forward to ShokiN day 15
Conclusion
Am very delighted for been part of the Day 14 shokiN shopping, it was a day well spent around wonderful and nice people. I appreciate the time spent , the togetherness, the love that fill the atmosphere, the care shown to new bees like us, and offcus the encouragement not to give up.
