Hi friends, i must confess that the spendhbd project has been the best for me so far on the #Hive platform, the fact that one can easily make their transactions without a hassle is a plus, the interface is so user friendly that anyone can easily handle and do their transactions in minutes.
So @beauty197 told us about a workshop she would organize and where she would sign up new users on the Hive platform, explain to them how to access their page, to explore communities and do other interesting stuff in the community.
It was a good opportunity for me to invite friends and family members, i spread the word to them and told them how impactful Hive platform have been to me so far even though I'm not even up to a month on the platform.
Unfortunately, the timing wasn't favorable for some of my invitees and thus they couldn't meet up. Only one tried her best to meet up later and she was glad she did because she meet other newbies who are also ready to start their hive journey.We chose a venue @yummyfantansy located in surulere lagos, and time set for meet up was 3pm.
Since the restaurant and lounge was already listed, we got food and demonstration was done to explain how to generate receipt for payments with HBD. It was done easily, scanned and the transaction was done in minutes. She was surprised at how swiftly the transaction went.
The juicy part of it was the percentage discount ranging from 15% to 35%. The fact that she got her discount immediately made her really excited.
I was also excited because i have been benefiting from this spend to earn initiative.
Hive is really impacting in people's lives with this spendhbd project, thing's are harder for a lot of people and families because of high cost of living, prices of goods and services have doubled if not tripled. So telling as many people as possible about Hive and spendhbd community, gives them an opportunity to save more money from their discounts and they will be able to get enough food stuff for their family.
After mentorship, we had a group lunch and pictures were taken as proof of our activities and for memories.
Yummyfantansy has such delicious meal's, i enjoyed my rice and spaghetti combo with beef.

Hopefully this week, other friends would also join in with us on our Hive journey and i will comtinue to tell more friends about Hive and Spendhbd.
