Spent 67 hbd @chiefomart evening shopping and a lovely hive meetup @devillahotbar

If you follow our shopping trend, you would notice I always show up for all our group shopping because it's my own little way of supporting the group and the #spendhbd community. I did so much shopping yesterday and personally spent 39 hbd in my shopping, which made it a total of 67 hbd spent. Isn't it massive?

Well the more frequent we shop together in groups makes people understand that the project is real and have come to stay. Most people in Nigeria always have a mindset that anything with much profit won't last long. Our continuous shopping is a way of telling them that #hive and #spendhbd project is here to stay and not crashing anytime soon so they have nothing to worry about.

The man that bumped my picture was curious as to why I was taking pictures after shopping, I told him it was for a transaction and he asked further, what transaction? And I told him about hive, and that when we shop and pay with hbd we get discounts and for us to claim the discount from #distriator, real life photos has to be taken to show that were shopping at a listed store. He was fascinated but wondered if it was real or not just a scam. More awareness needs to be created for #spendhbd so that people would understand how real it is.

SHOPPING @CHIEFOMART

I always enjoy shopping with friends and yesterday wasn't different to shop together. A lot of people didn't turn up due to one reason or the other, the few that turned up for the shopping made it worthwhile and they were;

The three of us met at chiefomart with me being the first to get there as usual, I started shopping immediately without delay because I know that I had a lot to shop and my trusted local guide @beauty197 had made plans for us to meet and discuss about hive.

While shopping the rest showed up and we all got what we wanted, did our transactions, paid and took pictures at chiefomart.

After shopping we sat to discuss while waiting to see if others would turn up and @nebytes2 told me about the challenges she has that have made her not to be active on hive. I asked what it was and she told me about her difficulties adding source to her post and where to get information from communities to know what to write. I showed her a practical example by using her own phone to show her how to add links and external sources through free sites like pixabay, I also showed her how easy it is to navigate to the communities she's interested in and checking their rules and guidelines and latest post. To also read post and comment on others people work for more engagement. She was happy because her confusion was cleared and she thanked me for the practical assistance.

HIVE MEETUP @DEVILLAHOTBAR

We left for @devillahotbar where we sat to discuss more about our progress on hive and seeing that the year is coming to an end in just a few days, plans needs to set as to what to expect in the coming year. @iquo met up with us @devillahotbar and we all had quality time together. We ordered for our drinks and peppered meat but got really delayed because the meat wasn't ready.

We complained to the management because this is the second time this is happening and he pleaded with us and told us that the reason is because most people come there to relax and have fun late at night and because they want their meat hot and fresh, they start preparing them late.

We had to wait because I really wasted to have my spicy goat meat. After about an hour the meat was finally ready and we ordered and enjoyed ourselves with music playing in the background. It was really a night of shopping and fun.

MARKETING PLANS ON 31ST DECEMBER AND 1ST OF JANUARY

So we will be going back to devillahotbar for marketing campaign on Spendhbd on 31st night because the place would be really busy on that day and another plan was to go on 1st of January which is going to be a public holiday and another good day for activity to meet with people and create awareness.

There's more to achieve next year because we want #hive to spread to every part of Nigeria and gradually it will be achieved.
