Going for shopping with friends is always fun and exciting, and that's how it was today at God's Own Supermarket, and I must confess that it was an interesting and rewarding shopping experience.
Before our shopping, @fokusnow held a presentation for some newbies at his office. He made them understand what the Hive Blockchain and SpendHbd project are, and how they can maximize their spendings using SpendHBD and also blog on Hive. Like he said, every HBD spent under spendHBD is rewarded. That's simply, spend and earn!. I'll add "living the good life with SpendHbd" hahaha!

After the presentation and onboarding, I helped two of the newbies @udyfrank and @peacemon download Keychain while some other friends helped them to set up their profile and import their accounts into Keychain.

Then I, and some other friends who joined later, headed to the supermarket to shop. We were ten in number. Being my first time, I was eager to experience how it was like to pay for stuffs with HBD.
After picking.the items I needed, a QR code was generated which I scanned to pay with my HBD. Within seconds a message popped up that my transaction was successful. "Wow, that was so fast", I shouted 😅.
Next was claiming my discount ftom distrriator and that was where I experienced a challenge. There was poor network service from the network providers which delayed my claiming. I switched from one network to the other but none was connecting. Even @marajah had same issue. It was as if they were out to frustrate my shopping but spendHBD said no, lol.
After waiting for close to ten minutes, it finally went through all thanks to @fokusnow who came to the rescue by connecting me to his Wi-Fi. I was ecstatic. Imagine shopping with HBD and getting a discount instantly, and it goes straight into your wallet. This is really amazing. In fact it was a whole new experience.
In all, I had a great shopping experience using spendHBD and I can't wait to visit other listed businesses to shop and also get friends to be part of this amazing project. Hopefully, I'll get some businesses listed too.
So dear friends, I encourage you to start using HBD to pay for stuffs you brought. It is worth every HBD you spend!
