Good day friends, how are you all doing today, I trust we are good. I will be using this opportunity to write concerning how we spent our day 16th shokin on last Saturday being 8th of February 2025.
Our day 16th shokin was done on a new location. I calls it new because that was my first time visiting there, it was on" la'fresh foods and bakery " located at 171faulksroad Aba , it's another place for one to have better refreshments, they have conducive environment, the inside is very clean and decorated , they chairs are good to be sitted on , their air-condition are working perfectly, infact we couldn't see what to complain about because even their workers are all good and they were attending to us in a nice way.
What else that I likes about la'fresh is that they sells varieties of eatables, different types of rice like
Jellof rice
Fried rice
Native rice
Pepper soup Rice etc.
They also sells different types of soups like:
Egusi soup
Afang soup
Bitter leaf soup
Vegetable soup
Oha soup etc.
Not only that, they are very good in baking, they bakes different things like:
Meat pie
Fish pie
Sausage
Egg roll including other snacks I couldn't name.
So true true they are loaded and always ready to deliver to customers.
As of when I entered I saw only 3 persons among our members which were @bummblebee , @fokusnow and @chimary so I can say I was the fourth, although I would have come together with these 3 but it happened that they left before I reach were I should have met them so I then have to locate the place by myself. I greeted and joined them , as usual we have to wait for some other people to join us, after a little time others started coming like @sammyhive
@bakinba and his new bee ,also a friend and other's I can't mention.
We made our orders as usual, I was really hungry then so I ordered a jellof rice and chicken with a bottle of Coca-Cola drink, some ordered same thing with me while others ordered a different thing like soup, meat pie, bottle water etc. all of us was happy consuming what we ordered and was having some discussions along the line, we made our payments as usual using our hive-key chain , we all received our discounts some 25%, some 30% and some even more than that, all was with the help of the @distriator .
after eating and drinking we decided to walk around the premises so we even went outside did some videos and also took some pictures, when I was taking some pictures inside, I noticed this write up in a drawing form that really draw my attention, the write up says "you are what you eat " . I have to snap it but even after that I was just meditating and thinking what that statement means, at a point I came to understand that they are trying to let us know how important it is to eat healthily, because when we eat healthy foods we also looks healthy but when we eat anyhow food either for satisfaction or for enjoyment , we won't be healthy and we might even end up fallen sick.
after reasoning this out I asked myself "does one really needs to be very rich in order to eat healthy foods"?, but I still answered myself same question which is "no" . So all of us can decide to select what we eat into our body so we shouldn't look unhealthy instead we will be healthy because true true "we are what we eat".
So our last shoking wasn't only about spending and earning but I learnt something new that day .
I'm looking ahead to attending the next shokin with all pleasure because I likes getting new experiences and seeing things to learn from. Our @spendhbd project is empathing so many benefits on us and I do encourage those who has an account here but aren't active to be active again. A lot is here to enjoy.
