Am back again as a trusted local guide to narrate my experience in my locality today while hunting and trying to get some shops listed.There are many businesses in this our city that needs to be listed but many rejects us. Why?
Honestly, the high rate of crime and corruption in our city have blinded the mind of people and bridge them from accepting good opportunities that seems new because people are living in fear of fraudsters.
Today, I and @ijebest unanimously agreed to visit a business I had appointment with to get it listed today. So both of us met in a junction known as Opobo junction which is located in ogborhill Aba. It took me 20 minutes to reach the junction with tricycle counting from the moment I left home.
Reaching the venue, We started our work. We went straight to the business I had appointment with which is Skyrun Electronics. It is located along Ikot-ekpene road Aba. But it was disappointing to see their shop locked. Ahh, we couldn't tell why as their closest neighbors couldn't tell why because it was all surprising to them all as it's hard for this shop to close entirely for the whole day. It must be something serious shaa.
Skyrun Electronics is a business that deals on all kinds of electrical equipments both for your interior decor and all other forms of decorations. I wish they're available today to get listed so we can start patronizing them.
At their absence, We turned their shop to studio as we took some pics there.
We decided not to return home instead, we visited about 4 more businesses. The first one we visited is De Young supermarket located beside Opobo junction. It's also a big supermarket located in a very good and comfortable place. But the manager rejected us with the intention that we are scammers despite how hard I tried explaining everything to her.
We left to another business that deals on a different business entirely. The name of the business is Mobis Unisex Saloon. Mobis is a unisex saloon located also in ogborhill Aba. They have quality customer care service and their handiwork is also sharp.
After explaining to the guy our mission and how his business and his customers would benefit from it, he asked me to hand over flier to him so as to weigh both hive and spendhbd project. Then, since my number is clearly written in the flier, he promise to call me within a space of 2 days. So we left. I collected his contact too.
Hmmm, it's disheartening to receive bundle of rejections at a time!!
Nevertheless, we moved to another business with the name D'neighborhood
D'neighborhood is a large restaurant and bar known for years as one of the biggest restaurant/bar around ogborhill and it's environs. After discussing with the man on seat at the moment, he told us that the manager is not on seat but handed over the manager's contact to me because the manager ordered him to do so. As I called the manager, he said I should call him back on Sunday because before accepting the project, he must speak with me one-on-one.
We also visited 2 other businesses around the vicinity but all proved futile. My people, I can't blame our people here because when it comes to online business, they're now 97% afraid because scammers and fraudsters abound looking for new online ideas to use and frustrate people's lives. So, people are now playing smartness especially when it's coming from either unknown source or stranger. Nevertheless, I will also revisit them starting from tomorrow being Sunday.
Am hoping to get something relevant from the marketing we did today. The only secret is perseverance and patience. Slow and steady is the game.

It is not easy to help a business owner to accept HBD but when the do, their joy is much, she should wait and see how customers will be coming to her shop
Am telling you especially here in our country because of the rate of scammers.
