Hello Hive
It is a really commendable exercise that we can now directly trade earned HBD with our local community. This stands as a massive campaign for the Hive Blockchain that finally a lot of other new users can now get onboard the Blockchain and equally be able to both earn and spend HBD. It is only a matter of time before more of our local traders here get onboard the blockchain and begin to spend HBD.
My first purchase with #SpendHBD
Before now we sometimes found it difficult to meet strangers and ask them if they would be willing to join the blockchain, but guess what? The recent trend and outburst of crypto news around the country, most especially with the introduction of telegram mining apps, have made a lot of our communists familiar with cryptocurrency.
And while the telegram mining apps have not been profitable, it will be an easier way to introduce the blockchain to them now. And the reality on the blockchain for which you can earn by blogging, engaging, or even making simple threads and comments becomes easy to preach the gospel of Hive.
Two days ago I visited a store to purchase this hair clipper for my brother. It is a gift I have bought for him to empower him after graduation from the university. He had learned professional male haircutting as a skill, and it was time for him to own a working tool.
At least before getting a good and paying job, he has to do the compulsory one-year service to his country, which he is already doing the registration in that part. But along the line he equally needs something to be doing that can earn him some income. It is always recommended here that while you are in school learning all the professional courses, you should learn a skill too. Skill acquisition is a good pathway to self-employment, and most individuals often settle for self-employment with their learned skill whenever the jobs are not forthcoming. Having trained him through school, I decided to gift him this clipper set bought with my earned HBD.
The set is sold for $10 and is good for both personal use. It's a rechargeable clipper that can work for a maximum of 4 hours when there is no power supply compared to the conventional ones that cannot work when there is no power, such an advancement in technology.
I had wished to purchase a solar-powered one that can utilize the power from the sun, making it useful for all time and season, but that one is really expensive, as the price stands at $32 HBD. This one will be more useful than the rechargeable one, but let's stick to our budget for now.
The owner of the store has never heard of Hive Blockchain. I took a careful tone to explain to him what the blockchain means and how it is far better and above the Telegram mining apps he has earlier engaged in just to earn some $$$$ from mining.
It was easy to create their Hive account, and I had them join the blockchain; their introduction blogs will be the first blog to usher them in here, and we are working on that. This will make it easy for us to make purchases among ourselves using HBD.
Coming onboard the community, I have tried to register on the https://distriator.com/ order to track my HBD spendings, but I'm getting a bit of a glitch for now and will continue at it until it's successfully registered.
Thank you to the admin and community moderators for this platform; it is indeed highly needed and a very useful one.
