My Introduction to Hive and SpendHBD - Get to know me and my first experience in SPENDHBD.

My name is Nwanosike Nneoma Joy.
I was born as the third child into the family of Mr and Mrs Nwagbara Friday Nwanosike of umuobaghi umuodo in ugwunagbo Local Government of Abia State. I am a skillfull young lady in her 20's. I have a senior sister named Nwanosike Ugonma Glory who works in an estate management company and a younger brother by name Nwanosike Nnamdi Trust who sells materials. My dad is a fashion designer who specializes on men's outfit of all kinds, while my mom is a Nurse.

EDUCATION
I attended my primary education at God's organized school here in Aba Abia state and I attended my secondary school at St Joseph's college. My secondary school life was really a memorable one, being the class representative for a period of time, I engaged in school dialogues, debates, sports activities which I enjoyed to the fullest. I really miss those days.

WORK
I wanted to be a Nurse, but it didn't work out again. So, i decided to go into fashion designing and I didn't regret my decision. My days of learning work wasn't an easy one, to cope with daily expenses the project you have at hand to submit, and finance to care for yourself. I didn't have any savings when I started this work, cause I didn't plan to start learning work, but as it says every disappointment is truly a blessing. I really see the trueness of that adage in my life. I stopped work at where I was working as a salesgirl in a cosmetic workshop. I don't like a place where I stay and I won't have rest of mind, my boss personality is tough, even though he didn't mean what he wanted to say at the initial time but how he says it can weaken someone's morale or zeal to work.

My boss was a type of person that if you come to work a minute late that day will be hell for you, so one faithful day I told him that I'm going to the bank to rectify my account that has been blocked due to the limit my account can take. He was using my account to receive transactions cause he doesn't have an account, he believes that it is of no use to have any so ask me to be using my account to be allowing any body that wants to transfer money for any item the bought and I agreed. The amount of money that came into my account was above my limit which made them to block my account. So I took permission from him to go and fix it , which I came back some minutes after he came back from buying goods to restock in our shop. My boss started ranting that I came to work very late even after he came back from the market. He said all sorts of things to me and finally asked me to go home that I'm not ready to work oo hmmm. Whereas the reason why my account was blocked was because the transactions I received that day was much and it is not even my money, the money was even his, see human being oo🤷.

I went home my lovely friends, I can't come and kill myself for work. This incidence really pissed me off and it wasn't the first time he threatened of sacking me so I decided to quit the work. I was staying at my mom's chemist shop for months, stopping work wasn't an easy one to cope with.

Eventually, one of our family friends came to our house and gave me the best advice an adult could give to a loved one. He advised me to find a skill to learn that he will sponsor me, he mentioned making of hair, makeup artist, tailoring. And tailoring was the least in my mind because I didn't even know how to pedal a sewing machine even though my dad has many of it😁🤣. Finally I decided to go for Fashion designing apprenticeship 😊 with the help of my family and that my family friend.

So now I am a fashion designer who specializes on female outfits of all kinds. And I have been into this field for about 4years and still counting. I derive so much joy in creating a new You just in a stitch 🪡👗🧵. Styling every of my esteemed clients into gorgeous is my priority as a fashion designer. Here are some of my works👉👉👉

HOBBY
I love embellishing clothes with beautiful beading and appliques, to make the finishing look luxurious and glamouring. I also derive joy in reading at my leisure and watching Korean movies 😊😋.

HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT HIVE
My sister @ugoglory introduced me to this platform. Few days ago, when she came back with some goodies she shopped using SpendHBD and she claimed her reward through distriator. I was really surprised that such platform exists, so I was eager to know what Hive and SpendHBD was all about. She gave me detailed explanation on how it works and I decided to join. So here comes the Newbie in Hive, I am excited to be in this platform.

MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH HIVE FRIENDS AND HOW I MADE USE OF SPENDHBD AT LA FRESH FOOD AND BAKERY.
Yesterday, I went with my sister to @fokusnow office for mentorship on how to scan, make payment and claim my discount through distriator. After the mentorship, i took some pictures with @fokusnow, @ugoglory and @go-well.

After detailed explanation from @fokusnow on how to make purchase, we headed to La Fresh Food and Bakery for shipping and this is my first experience using Hive Dollars to make payment and claim discount.

There were a lot of foods in the menu which includes snacks, fried rice and jollof rice, moimoi, white rice and stew, chicken and turkey, etc. Their services was good and commendable.

I chose fried rice and chicken. I scanned and made payment using Hive Dollars and claimed my discount through distriator. The total amount I paid for the fried rice and chicken was 3.250 Hive Dollars and claimed a discount of 0.650, being 20% of 3,250.

I was so excited to have such rewarding experience. I also spent time with other Hive friends who also came for the Shokin. I took some pictures with them and had great fun with them. Some of the hive friends that came were:

It was really interesting to know that I can spend and also earn from the distriator. It is a good privilege to be here. I will love to do this more and more and get to know every of my Hive friends.
