Hive Fest Split - Conference Day 2, Diocletian Palace
Second day of the Conference was in the Split old town. In the The Cellars of Diocletian's Palace. They are quite old, beautiful, and had dragons in it. If i remember correctly, dragons were not really happy staying there so now they are gone.
Diocletian joined us with some wise words about learning from history :)
There were no complaints about the heat and moving around to find some shade.
I am guessing this was the anouncmet of the Worldmappin darts game that took place later at one of the brakes.
The talks kicked off with Splinterlands. I am pretty critical about my photos, i must say i like this one.
Arcange had an interesting question
Map and rewards for the WorldMapPin contest, that i totally missed when it was happening.
VSC guys did a nice demonstration of buying Hive with fiat through a metamask wallet in few minutes. Some interesting new development.
Techcoderx talked about some cool new things about login? I really need to rewatch all the talks.

Close to
the end of the conference we had the pleasure to watch a documentary made by mynewlife.
At the end we had Beer. Presentation about Beer Community and about a NTF beer brewery. 240 cans of beer a year per NFT. Not Bad.
We also had an opportunity to try it out.
After that we went to Anonima Bottega Italiana, a cafe that decided it will take HBD as payment for drinks. They were pretty surprised by the large group. I just checked they still hold the HBD. Would be interesting to check in some time, would they get some more payments :)
They did earn 250$ in few days by just accepting crypto as payment.
I have no photos from the cafe and the diner after that. So i will end this with another rare photo of Split that i took

I too think the Splinterlands speech photo looked great, limiting the field depth nicely!
It's sad that you missed the WorldMapPin contest, but you provided us with the photos I wanted but didn't find time to take, the playing field before starting and the picture with the contestants signed up, so thanks for missing it haha.
If I hadn't seen the picture you took of @evelynchachin and I there together in the column, I wouldn't have realized we were the girls in stripes that day haha. Serious shot, as it should be, paying attention to what's important.
But one of the photos I liked the most was this one:
that was for you people addicted to phones 😂 i know lordbutterfly mentioned he had to climb some ladders to get the modem out through the window for the livestream to work 😄
To be honest google maps also had a lot of problems in the old town. it was usually showing the wrong direction :)
i like the one after the contest, feels like someone took time to set it up, the dart being looks set up :)
Stripes are the sea appropriate 😂
From the pure photography perspective there are few photos i like, the splinterlands one (the square crop in the cover photo looks even better).
I like this one, it has a weird mix of colors as the phone is blue, not sure why, maybe because of glowing Hive logo :)
and this one. crop could also maybe be a bit different but i left it like that as to not just be a portrait, but also had a bit of a context.

Why did you come to hive fest? Very good question. This reminds me of the objectives of hive fest. Amazing photography
it is weird combination. some came to present what they are working on, some came to connect faces with usernames, there is a group that don't really do anything at hive at the moment, but they like to go to hivefest. but overall feeling is that it is for the people you meet there.
This #HivefestFeeling is something very special and very unique - we all as a worldwide community should be very proud of what we created here.

Amazing photos, didn't see myself much, but still the day was great. I wasn't on the beginning of the day so I didn't see the Emperor, but looking at your photos it was awesome.

i think there is only one photo of you. i did overall took less photos than at first day. number of taken photos was going down day by day :D
