This road to hivefest had the family splitting apart for a while. Sarah and the Kids headed off to the U.K. to see family while i stayed in Guatemala tieing up some projects. We are building a few rental units and i needed to be there for some of the arranging of materials and work.

But this is the first time that we are all coming. @thebombkids are super pumped. Obviously the thing they are most excited about is getting to ride in the #hive rally car. They cant stop talking about it really.
These last weeks in Guatemala were also spent finishing recording with my band KALDERA. The album is officially in the bag, Now it’s all in the producers hands,equalizing,editing and mastering is left now.
So for my final days we did a little tour, with gigs in Guatemala City and Antigua at some sweet locations. Was nice to play in places with crowds and great sound systems!!
I went straight from my Saturday gig to a Sunday Flight to the U.K. It was all a bit of a whirlwind. Packed and ready for the Journey, can’t be late to get back to see the Kids and Sarah.
I of course arrived to a clown who has little respect for papa buttcoins. The joy of parenting is mostly an invitation to belittlement. 🤣

We spent this last weekend visiting family, with cousins racing car tracks and playing on the trampoline. We of course had the classic British cuisine of fish and chips. Got to love a good bloated stomach. Good to be amongst the warmth of loved ones!
Now we are at our last night, nearly packed and off to Luton Airport in the morning. I was showing Sarah the schedule for hivefest. She asked, “will people not talk to me because i dont post or understand anything about hive?”
I made sure to let her know she would be completely shunned, that she should sit in the corner and feel shame during the entirety of Hivefest.
Maybe we will let her go on the nice boat ride Friday, but only if she demonstrates real atonement for never posting on Hive. 😜😉🤣
That might be one reason ;-) But don’t worry, most people will be busy staring at their phones and mumbling quietly in Hiveish. You’ll adapt quickly!
