Here are the photos from our communal dinner! After we ate, I got caught up in some lively conversations outside, which gave me the chance to snap a few portraits along the way. During the dinner itself, I chose not to take any pictures. I didn't want to disturb anyone while they were enjoying their wonderful meals, and to be honest, I prefer not to photograph people while they're eating.
I hope you enjoy the photos I did capture that evening. As I mentioned, I was deep in conversation at times and couldn't photograph all of the amazing musicians who performed. So, everything you see here is all I have from that night :)
The next day, after a good night's sleep, I was back in top form and managed to take some fantastic shots of the speakers on Day 2 of the conference. I'll be sharing those with you tomorrow and the day after. Stay tuned, and I hope you're as excited as I am to see them!

i do hate those LED reflectors from the bottom of my heart. i have no idea how can they make it so bad.
Yea, i more prefer direct light from the front above - most the time a phone was in the view - one of the reasons i dont have more closeups. So much shadows in the face :(
it is not even the direction of the shadow, down low looks not great, but it is the quality of those lights. i photographed a lot of small live music performances with those LEDs. they are super weird, they burn all the data on the spot they shine on and make those weird looking blobs of something. almost only way to get a decent photo is to hunt the white and yellow light from it. it is not as bad as all the other colors.
