Silver Bloggers❤️😸 Hope you all are doing well out there. So this nostalgic initiative is taken by @galenkp with his mates @dandays and others in which the participants have to tell something they remember/ love about their grandparents.

I've have spent the initial years of my teenage with my grandparents. And I must confess that they both were such amazing people ❤️

Ps. Taken from Pinterest

My grandfather was a retired teacher, landlord and a social activist. My grandma, she was a house wife. In our country, we have a strong family system so we people are so emotionally attached to our elders.

The thing that influenced me

My grandfather
He has been my inspiration for he was the one stood up to help the people in need even if he was not financially stable at times. I remember my father telling me that when I was born, there was another random lady in the same hospital giving birth to a child, her family couldn't afford the fees of the doctor. My grandpa gave them our money and went back home to fetch some more for us.

His Pension Salary used to finish the day it arrived because he had a soft corner in his heart for the people around him. I remember there were thousands of people at his funeral.

My grandma:
Cleo, that when my grandma left this world that was the last time we saw Maano. Everyone in our town used to call her Amma (mother). The thing that I remember or should I say love about my grandma is she was optimistic, finding out positivity even in negative scenarios. She was a harbinger or hope and tenderness is what I always found in the way she used to talk. Ahh that pretty, kind and gently speaking lady! She was so humble and kind (writing it with teary eyes). She was so humble towards every creature around her. She had a cat, Maano. I've already mentioned about Maano with @galenkp when he posted about His cutie

Ps: This is the picture of my Daada and Daadi in our house.

I miss them & I wish both of them peace in their afterlives❤️🥺

I wanted to drop a personal note. Your entry made this contest difficult to decide. I wrote a note next to yours while judging, it said "authentic, grandpa ran home for money."

Great story. Thank you for entering.

Your personal note means a lot to me thanks for making me smile It did make me happy 😊❤️

Your Amma sounds as incredible as mine was. But that part about grandpa running back home for money was next level.

Thank you for entering.

I guess this is how Ammas throughout the world get with time. Their caring and tenderness is what we all love and remember. They spend years watching things of all sorts happening to them. Some of them get annoyed and others acquire humbleness in their behavior. Yes my grandpa was there to help anyone emotionally, financially and socially.

Thanks for the kind words ❤️😄

Sounds like you had an awesome family, especially with the generosity of your grandfather. That’s hard to come by and it definitely shows when he thinks of others before himself. I’m glad to have read this and learned a little about him!

We acquire traits from our elders through our genes and moral values from their teachings. It has really helped me to shape as a better individual for my society 😊❤️

Your grandfather is a very generous man! I hope more blessings come along the way for him. A friend of mine used to say this: give back once, get back twice. She was referring to her belief that when you help people once, you get back twice in return.

finding out positivity even in negative scenarios.

This is a trait we all need when having patience and positivity is needed to get through tough times

This comment brought a smile on my face 😄 I've learned a lot from them and Yes they were a blessing. Your friend is right do let her know that she's a great human being 🥺❤️. & Thank you for enlightening my post with your kind words ❤️

Its my pleasure to stop by your post! I wish you and your family the best of health and blessings. Take good care of yourself! 😊
