OH YEAH.. Almost forgot. How about that new AI app called CHATGPT!!!! I am hearing that if school kids ask it to write a term paper on a certain subject, it will and it will be original.. like no other paper. What the F*$%. I am reading how the New York state board of ed is trying to figure out what the heck to do about this. They are going to ban using the app, but do not know how to tell if the kids are using it or not. HOW LAZY CAN ONE GET!!!! Talk about an easy road.

I already talked to my admin team about this a couple of weeks ago. Our business director used it to write her board report that she is going to present to them on Monday night. She is going to fully disclose that she used AI to do it. There are services like "No Red Ink" to combat plagiarism, but if it is all original work, I don't know if that will help. I blocked the OPEN AI site a while ago, but if kids want to use it they are just going to use their personal device. There isn't going to be much way we can stop them. It's awesome and scary all at the same time!
