I sort of gave up on my garden as well. I pulled out and cut off the squash and zucchini. Those plants didn't look too great after we got back from vacation. My neighbor watered them the best he could but the heat was just too much. on the flipside the tomatoes are starting to come in. They always seem to come on later and later every year. I really should try starting them in small greenhouse or something.

Yeah, I always had that problem with my tomatoes too. Waiting until memorial Day to start working on my garden was never a good idea. It's been so hot this summer which is funny because most of June was fantastic here.
