RE: Time Is A Relentless Force

When I figure out how to savor time I will definitely let you know. Most likely I will be giving you a call when I retire! Lol.
Thank you for the anniversary wishes. We had a good Time in Atlantic City. We live so close yet we rarely go into the city. I go in for business but other than that not to stay overnight. Spent way too much money but it was a good time.

Hey, that will happen sometimes (the spending too much money). I only remember a couple things about my visit to Atlantic City. I remember you had to pay a toll on the road just to get into the city and I remember my boss spilling his drink all over the roulette table. Lucky we didn't get kicked out!

Hahaha. 😆 black balled. lol
Yeah pretty much looks the same most likely. I think I saw that roulette table with the stain on it. 😂
I like the atmosphere there I just don't appreciate how inflated the prices are on drinks and such. Didn't gamble a penny but lost big anyway 🤨

That seems to be the case everywhere unfortunately. My wife and I can't go out to dinner and have a couple drinks a piece without it being under $100 these days and we live in a pretty average cost of living area. Did I hear that they shut down the Trump TaJ Mahal? That's the casino we stopped at when we were out there.

Oh WOW! Yes the Taj.. That's where we stayed and spent the night. It's now called the Hard Rock.. Hard Rock bought it maybe around 2015-2020.. somewhere in there.
We spent about $250 on the room (300+ after taxes and fees) then $500+ on drinks and food - FOR ONE STINKING NIGHT! Oh well. Good thing we aren't gamblers, or maybe we should have. lol

Dang, that is crazy! At least you had a good time though! It's really getting ridiculous though. It's almost cheaper to improve your oasis at home and just drink there. You lose a bit of the social aspect I guess...

Very true.. And we used to go out for drinks and meals 2-3 times a week. Not anymore. We are improving our Martini making skills and saving a ton.

You know, I have never had a martini, but if you learn to make a killer Old Fashioned, I might have to track that lake house down and you might never get rid of me!
