I was born in the countryside area but only few household had TV and betamax. We were not allowed to watch TV whole day so most of us would go out and play traditional games. Power interruption was common those days but we weren't bothered coz we would just go out and play or go to the farm. Now, I am in the city; whenever there is power interruption, people would go to malls to escape from hot weather or just to pass the time. Sometimes, the familiar noise of technology feels welcoming, but after some time, I get disoriented. I still prefer the silence that nature offers.
