¿Cómo vives la vida? ¿La sientes? ¿O eres uno más de los que pasa por este mundo sin amar tu vida, lo que te rodea, a tus seres queridos, lo que comes, hueles, sientes?
La vida es más que levantarse cada día, ir al trabajo, comer y llegar por las noches a casa a ver teléfono y dormir.
Si tan solo pudieras respirar y sentir como pasa el aire por todo tu cuerpo, se siente bien y eso es algo que podemos empezar agradecer en este día tan hermoso que Dios nos regalò.
How do you live life, do you feel it, or are you one of those who pass through this world without loving your life, what surrounds you, your loved ones, what you eat, smell, feel?
Life is more than getting up every day, going to work, eating and coming home at night to watch the phone and sleep.
If you could just breathe and feel how the air passes through your whole body, it feels good and that is something we can begin to be grateful for in this beautiful day that God gave us.
Tu y yo aún estamos aquí en este mundo maravilloso, lleno de color. Tu y yo aún podemos sentir y abrazar la vida con amor y alegría, solo es cuestión que te des cuenta que estas vivo, ¡vivo! ¡Muy vivo!
Hoy les quiero traer una pequeña reflexión en medio de una situación familiar que no quiero contar para no caer en más de lo mismo. Lo pasado pasó, la vida es hoy. Para soltar el pasado hay que abrazar el presente y a veces no somos conscientes de eso.
You and I are still here in this wonderful, colorful world. You and I can still feel and embrace life with love and joy, it is just a matter of realizing that you are alive, alive, very much alive!
Today I want to bring you a little reflection in the midst of a family situation that I don't want to tell you about so as not to fall into more of the same. The past is past, life is today. To let go of the past you have to embrace the present and sometimes we are not aware of that.
“La Loma de Mitimbis, el paraíso de Boconò, Estado Trujillo”
Este fin de semana tuve que viajar a Boconò Estado Trujillo, al oeste de Venezuela. Todo esto que ustedes ven en las imágenes es la tierra natal de mi madre y alli pasamos algunas vacaciones en la infancia.
A este lugar le llaman “La Loma de Mitimbis, el paraíso de Boconò, Estado Trujillo”
This weekend I had to travel to Boconò, Trujillo State, in the west of Venezuela. All this that you see in the pictures is my mother's homeland and there we spent some vacations in my childhood.
This place is called “La Loma de Mitimbis, the paradise of Boconò, Trujillo State”.
Boconò en hermoso, tiene unas vistas panorámicas magnificas, de esas que te dejan con la boca abierta por un buen rato. Estos caminos o senderos fueron creados por los trabajadores de los páramos quienes con sus cargas de papa, cebolla, café y otras verduras que cultivaban en las montañas bajaban cada semana para venderlas en el mercado del pueblo.
Boconò in beautiful, has magnificent panoramic views, those that leave you with your mouth open for a while. These roads or trails were created by the workers of the moors who with their loads of potatoes, onions, coffee and other vegetables grown in the mountains came down every week to sell them in the town market.
Esos caminos fueron olvidados por mucho tiempo luego que las carreteras fueron construidas y comenzaron a llegar los vehículos que reemplazaron a los caballos, mulas y bueyes.
Todo cambio luego de la pandemia del Covid-19, la gente se liberó del encierro y comenzó a buscar espacios abiertos para recrearse, para respirar, hacer ejercicio y mantenerse activo. Todos comenzamos a caminar y hacer bicicleta. De aquí que naciera el senderismo entre la población.
Those roads were forgotten for a long time after the highways were built and vehicles began to arrive to replace the horses, mules and oxen.
Everything changed after the Covid-19 pandemic, people broke free from confinement and started looking for open spaces to recreate, to breathe, to exercise and to stay active. We all started walking and cycling. Hence, hiking was born among the population.
Jóvenes, mujeres, niños, deportistas y no deportistas queríamos salir, queríamos caminar y desde entonces estos caminos ya no estan solos. Mañana, tarde y noche vemos gente por el lugar.
¡Si tan solo puedas estar en este lugar! Se siente frescura, paz, se siente el aire cuando roza tu piel, se siente armonía y se deleita la vista con tantos paisajes.
Young people, women, children, athletes and non-athletes wanted to go out, we wanted to walk and since then these paths are no longer alone. Morning, noon and night we see people around the place.
If only you could be in this place! You feel freshness, peace, you feel the air when it brushes your skin, you feel harmony and you delight your eyes with so many landscapes.
Estos enormes arboles a los que ya su barba llega al suelo son los más viejos del lugar, ellos llegaron aquí antes que todos nosotros y saben la historia de cada familia del pueblo, saben quién estuvo de paso y quien llegó para quedarse.
These enormous trees whose beards reach the ground are the oldest of the place, they arrived here before all of us and they know the history of each family of the town, they know who was passing through and who came to stay.
Y Boconò es un hermoso lugar para visitar, lo peligroso es que te quieras quedar. Su gente es amable, te da su abrigo y cariño, te recibe con los brazos abiertos y abre las puertas de tu casa para que te quieras quedar. Asi son allá, son gente amable, cordial, siempre con una sonrisa en los labios y la bendición de Dios desde que te levantas, te vas, llegas, comes o te acuestas.
And Boconò is a beautiful place to visit, the dangerous thing is that you want to stay. Its people are kind, they give you their warmth and affection, they welcome you with open arms and open the doors of your house so that you want to stay. That's how they are there, they are friendly, cordial people, always with a smile on their lips and God's blessing from the moment you get up, leave, arrive, eat or go to bed.
