Greetings friends of Hive and @silverbloggers, today I'm going to participate in the initiative proposed by @ericvancewalton, Memory Monday #45, What is one of your favorite memories of your mother?, to express the experience with our mother and get to know other users within Hive.
Cabe destacar que mi madre en la actualidad tiene 80 años, ella formó una familia con mi padre, que ya no está con nosotras porque falleció hace de siete años, somos en total seis hijos, después que me case, me fui de la casa a vivir en casa de mi suegra y así también lo hicieron mis tres hermanos, quedándose en casa mi hermano que es mi morocho y mi hermana menor. Cada vez que voy a visitar mi madre me hace cariño, para las madres los hijos todavía siguen siendo sus niños, digo esto por la forma en que mi mamá nos trata a todos.
It is worth mentioning that my mother is currently 80 years old, she started a family with my father, who is no longer with us because he passed away seven years ago, we are six children in total, after I got married, I left home to live with my mother-in-law and so did my three siblings, leaving my brother who is my dark-skinned brother and my younger sister at home. Every time I go to visit my mother she makes me feel affection, for mothers children are still their children, I say this because of the way my mother treats us all.
Asimismo hay personas que les he preguntado si tienen recuerdos de su infancia y me dicen que no, eni caso si recuerdo en una ocasión cuando mi madre nos llevaba a pasear para casa de una tía, nos llevaba a los cinco hermanos, cuando llegábamos a ese lugar, era de mucha diversión, porque jugábamos el juego del ladrón librado con otro niños que vivían en ese comunidad. Después que hacía más tarde nos regresábamos a casa a esperar que llegará mi padre del trabajo, siempre nos llevaba pan salado o dulce para comer.
There are also people who I have asked if they have memories of their childhood and they say no. In my case, I do remember one occasion when my mother took us for a walk to an aunt's house. She took us five siblings. When we got there, it was a lot of fun because we played the game of the freed robber with other children who lived in that community. Afterwards, when it got late, we returned home to wait for my father to come home from work. He always brought us salty or sweet bread to eat.
Asimismo, en las mañanas nos llevaba a la escuela, recuerdo que mi madre nos enseñó a leer y cuando ya pasamos a primer grado estábamos adelantados en la lectura y aprendiendo los números. Mi madre siempre nos ayudó en los estudios de primaria y secundaria, ella decía que cuando pasen al liceo no iba a poder apoyarnos porque había estudiado hasta sexto grado, pero resulta que el nivel de estudio que ella tenía era como de bachillerato.
She also took us to school in the mornings. I remember that my mother taught us to read and when we got to first grade we were already well ahead in reading and learning numbers. My mother always helped us with our primary and secondary studies. She said that when we went to high school she wouldn't be able to help us because she had studied up to sixth grade, but it turns out that her level of education was like that of high school.
Otra cosas que me vienen a la mente, es que mi madre ha sido una mujer trabajadora, en una ocasión como mi padre no tenía un trabajo estable, y nos hacía falta ropa, entonces ella compro telas y nos hizo unos ropa, con su máquina de coser. También cuando mi padre estaba construyendo la casa, todos nosotros los hijos ayudamos en la construcción y mi madre también cargaba todos de tierra y de cemento, cada uno de nosotros apoyamos a mi padre en la construcción de la casa familiar.
Another thing that comes to mind is that my mother was a hard-working woman. On one occasion, when my father did not have a stable job and we needed clothes, she bought fabric and made us some clothes with her sewing machine. Also, when my father was building the house, all of us children helped with the construction and my mother also carried dirt and cement. Each one of us helped my father in building the family home.
A la edad que tiene mi madre, todavía está activa, cuando voy a casa, lo primero que me dice en la cocina está el termo para que tomes café, y si se hace mediodía me prepara a mi y a mi hermano el almuerzo, es una mujer que todavía se preocupa por nosotros los hijos y está pendiente de sus sobrinos.
At my mother's age, she is still active. When I go home, the first thing she tells me is that in the kitchen there is a thermos for you to drink coffee. If it is noon, she prepares lunch for me and my brother. She is a woman who still cares about us children and is attentive to her nephews and nieces.

If you love your memories of your mom and shared it with us, of course I enjoy reading this. You have such a wonderful and smart mother. Taking care of 6 children and still healthy at her 80's 🙌🙌 She's a hero indeed.
