Oh, the pound cake! Next time! :) I do have a coffeecake I made this morning. Will that do? The lasagne was amazing, and the layers are purposely made to trap the sauce. We always make our own pasta, and it is made paper thin which is why it has a lot of layers as opposed to one or two. I also don't use ricotta cheese but use a bolognese sauce.

That makes a lot of sense. We have talked about making out own pasta in the past, but we have never really gotten around to it. I don't like a ton of ricotta, so that sounds just about perfect to me!

There is no ricotta at all! It is an all-meat sauce with tons and tons of flavor! If you make it once, it will own you!
