Walking the Galleria, Promenade with me?

Sometimes, it is easier to see what I am talking about if I give a glimpse of what it is like. As I am still sailing on the Good Ship Lollipop, AKA the Mereviglia, I am walking down the Galleria or the promenade. The main corridor in the ship. It contains all the important things while you are living aboard The shopping is sprinkled along this avenue of fun. Jewelers, Gala wear, purses, and even Gelato. The chocolatier is here, placed right beside one of the hot spots for dance parties.

Meraviglia's Promenade deck has an arch-shaped ceiling fitted with an LED screen and covers the entire walk of the 6th floor. Look to the sky! The first time I was wowed by this, it was in 2020, right before Covid. The ship had been ported in Italy and was moving to the US, so it was brand new, all over again. I loved the ever-changing ceiling, and these creations were definitely inspired by different things.

It's Wednesday! Okay! To be fair, it is still Wednesday where I am! We are walking! As always, I want to thank @Tattoodjay for hosting the #WednesdayWalk challenge! Let's take the stairs right up from the cafe, Jean-Philippe. I am sure I will never forget that name, nor his chocolate! Anyway, this is the most popular place, Kaito Teppanyaki restaurant, on deck 7, there are tables set along the balcony overlooking the Gallery. Look to the sky! You are even closer to the ceiling.

Tell the truth! Aren't these stairs stunningly beautiful?? I think so. One of the reasons I go up and down all day long. Just so I can fawn over these Swarovski crystal stairs. Each of those staircases glitters with thousands of crystals, individually set. How do you say wow?

Sushi!! First I took a class on how to make sushi, which is the second time I have done it. I have practiced with/on my family. They are great guinea pigs and can be counted on to go easy on the chef. We had sushi there several times in the last two weeks. I realize that I am coming along, but, I am a far cry from theirs. Soon! In the meantime, I will keep practicing with my family. Shhhhhh! It will be our little secret, yes?

We walked back downstairs so that we get all our steps in. Don't worry, we are walking! It's Wednesday! Raise your hand if you know where we are! If your read yesterday's post, you know we are at the Chocolatier! Jean-Philippe! A broader view of the cafe. We will stop for a short espresso and finish our walk. Are you in? Let's go!

Back upstairs again, to deck 7, we are at the Irish Pub. They make the best fish and chips there, but, it is still quiet there. Many are sleeping off the morning at the pool. The ship is quiet while they are relaxing by the pool. It is a beautiful day to do it.

Back downstairs again, hey! We are doing our steps today. Stopping for their red hot sale on purses, I see this sculpture of a hand holding a child. ❤️ The artwork, sculptures, and dancing in the streets really elevate the experience.

Heading to the dining room for a nice piece of cheesecake and coffee, I think it is time to end our walk. Perhaps you will come again next week? There is so much more to the ship than this.
