I am back for a while in the Cape, and with the cold and rain spells, I see almost no bird life. Sad that they are not showing their faces, but totally understandable.

Birds are there, Mossies love hanging around under roofing, out of blustering gale winds.
The mossies are really so sweet. I saw some this morning (in Gauteng) under the roof hiding from the hot sun! Might post some of these photographs soon.
They really are a great bird in our country, some history attached as to why they were used on coins.
I never knew! Or I knew that they were on some of the coins, but I am not familiar with the history. I will check it out a bit! Thanks for letting me know.
