A pale pink sunrise is how yesterday began. Then it was into the kitchen. Of course.
First order of the day was to do the first of three knockdowns before shaping the rolls.
I am loving the warmer weather and how I can extend my kitchen on to the stoep.
Then it was the jar salad or roasted carrots and almonds.
To be dressed with homemade spicy plum jam and with "my" olives. Oh and apple cider vinegar for some acidity.
The whole lot was combined and then distributed amonf four jars.
Fresh rocket (arugula) to finish off.
Oh, and to end the day:
Burgers. And another experiment: onions with lemonchilli marmalade. Will do that again.
