Altered Book Afternoon - Day 58 - The 100 Day Project

Still feeling under par so Keeping Day 58 of The 100 Day Project simple and trying not to judge myself too harshly for what I'm producing.

Today I worked on another page in my altered book.

The first layer was created using painty paper, a recycled ribbon from a body shop package, an old Woolworths receipt, upcycled parcel wrapping paper, a Christmas menu from a National Trust Garden, vintage sheet music, a postage stamp and a miniature playing card from a Christmas cracker.

The extra layer includes hand printed tissue paper, flower pics from a recycled book and a random number from an old magazine.

To finish it all off I toned down some of the white with distressed ink and outlined the flowers with black ink.
