RE: Yes, it Takes a Fair Amount of Time to Create “Nice” Posts!

I'm afraid I am in your camp. When I started on steemit, I was told that punctuation and grammar, etc all would count and I should write as well as I could. So I always have. I spend a lot of time on the posts (mostly editing photos) but also trying to make sure I am clear on what I'm trying to say and trying to catch typos, etc.

I like to see a job done well. My husband was also this way, for most things. I find it annoying when things on the house aren't done to his standard. But he's not doing them, and I have to take what I can get for help.

My son says it's my OCD showing... :))

I suppose it's also the fact that I was raised with the "always do your best" paradigm that keeps me from getting sloppy.

Much of the time is spent on photos, and cropping, trimming and reducing to the right size and shape to fit the space. I know most people just add their "raw" (unedited) photos from their phones... doesn't really work for me.

I think there's a certain joy in pretty much anything that is done well.
