I bet there are lots of climbers on this Hangklip - that's another thing besides flying that I don't like to do
The first photo of the Hangklip is my absolute favourite in this cool and fun to read post, my friend, the clouds are nicely leading the viewers eyes to the main subject, the Hangklip 😀

Years ago, before my accident I could Bungee jump from very high spots, but I have never tried cliff abseiling or mountain climbing.
That Hangklip has always fascinated me Hannes.
Even though we have driven right up to the Hangklip on that lovely low mountain pass road that you can see at the bottom of the mountain at the front, it still holds me attention as a marker.
You are correct as I also saw the cloud pointers.
Thank you for the nice comment.
Cheers and thanks.
Cheers and thanks.
I think that it's the strong South Easter wind in combination with rain that cut the Hangklip like that.
Yeah, I can imagine Bungee jumping and also skydiving from a plane, but flying with a small plane or climbing up a vertical rock face ... no way 😏 It's not the height, it's just the fear to fall, I know I'm strange 🙃
Yep, wind and water can do so much and change whole mountains over the years or better said centuries or thousands of years :)
You're most welcome, my friend ☺️

Now you know that I insisted that the laborer's on the steel electrical feed towers must wear a harness and a safety belt. I fired quite a few that I caught with it on.
Rock is slippery, but the narrow steel braces on a 55 meter high tower is even more slippery.
I was just never interested in rock climbing, as like you I could also make my way up to the top of a mountain by not having to do abseiling. Most mountains that is but some are impossible to climb.
I also prefer to judge the weather cutting of that massive solid rock to have taken thousands of years.
Maybe from a time that the Dinosaurs still walked around here.
Cheers and thanks.
There are still many construction workers who whink they don't need no protection, but they become less and less. I would have followed your instructions for sure.
I am sure these rocks have seen the dinosaurs.
!PIZZA and !BEER - sounds like a nice dinner :)

Oh yes, we also occasionally still have a bad accident here that should never have happened.
Glad that you would have listened Hannes 😘
That's why I talk to the mountains and ask them to tell me their secrets.
But the sad thing is they don't answer me 🤣
Imagine what they can tell me.
Cheers and thanks.
The mountains are talking too slow for us to understand them - you know that one second for us might be 10 years for them 🤣
!BEER and !PIZZA - nice 😃

Hahah, more like 50 years for them Hannes 🤣
Cheers and thanks.
