"I lived within vanity, atop the ocean…" "Έζησα μες τη ματαιότητα, και πάνω στον Ωκεανό…"
~Tasos Leivaditis - Small Book, Big Dreams

I visited the ocean after sunset. The sunset was not colorful today, all day, the sky was gray. But that left a great silver veil around everything. The wave, the sea, the clouds - everything looked silver.

I passed next to the very old tamarisk tree, visited the next sandy beach, and saw the shining clouds.

After a while, I took the way to return.

I opened the book and this is the page I read

This quote can have a number of different meanings, but I prefer to leave it to you. You can interpret it as you wish :)

Many of the quotes by T. Leivaditis have marked my life. I hope I will be able to share some more with you soon.

Have you heard about this author/poet before?

Thank you for visiting!

Thank you very much for taking the time to come by my post!
I have read your 'about' page and I am a pre-millenial.. I think that my post touches at least 2-3 of the categories mentioned :(
Apologies for using your community, if I am not wanted here, I will not use this community again.
Have a lovely day

p.s. edit: What does premillenial mean? A person who was born before 2000? : ) If yes, then I am a pre-millenial!

Pre Millenial - like in before the Millenials...

2000–: New Silent Generation or Generation Z
1980 to 2000: Millennials or Generation Y
1965 to 1979: Thirteeners or Generation X
1946 to 1964: Baby Boomers
1925 to 1945: the Silent Generation

Very beautiful scenery, and the writer's quote makes profound sense. No, I haven't read anything by him. I will be interested to read something else by him.
Nice your post. Thanks for sharing. Regards.🤗

Thank you so much!
