SPRING IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD 🌹🌞🌹

Hello Dear Friends.

Happy Monday, I hope you had a lovely weekend and now you are ready to tackle a new week. I have enjoyed couple of sunny days and I took break from recipes and went out instead.

As many of you know, I am blessed by living in a neighbourhood full of flowers and I take lots of photos each year.

At this time I captured all the sprig flowers I could find, starting with beautiful red tulips.

2.jpg

Blue Grape Hyacinth that is very popular spring flower with beautiful scent.

5.jpg

Pink Hyacinth that comes in many other colors, for example purple, white, blue and fuchsia. Also with beautiful an strong scent.

One of my favorites, tiny Turkestan Tulip, that is just adorable.

And what would be spring without Daffodils. The most common ones are yellow, but I like these pale, almost white ones. Aren't they beautiful?

And here we have another blue flower, the lovely Periwinkle. Such a pretty name too.

14.jpg

Of course at last, the vibrant Dandelion, that is sadly hated by many homeowners and puled out of their manicured green yards. It is just heartbreaking what they are willing to do to prevent this lovely flower from growing. Luckily, the city doesn't mind and Dandelion is freely growing everywhere around the roads. sidewalks and parks. Oh and on my daughter's yard too πŸ’›πŸŒΏπŸ’›

Thank you for visiting 🌹🌞🌹

What stunning spring flowers @lenasveganliving, you must be so enjoying the warmer weather. Love the Hyacinth with it's beautiful scent as well! I must try and grow some when we have spring here again.
Thank you for brightening up our community with this beautiful show of spring🌻

Thank you so much my Dear Lizelle! I am happy you like it. Sadly the weather got gloomy since I took these photos, but it should improve soon again. May is always beautiful here, so I will be back with more flowers πŸŒΈπŸ’–πŸŒΈ

Love Lena photos, the beautiful flowers cheer up my day! Thank you Lena :))))

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww, thank you so much my Dear Cherry, I am so happy to hear that. More is coming for sure πŸŒΈπŸ’–πŸŒΈ

What a delightful collection of spring flowers! Gorgeous... I love the tulips and the grape hyacinth. Beautiful! :-)

Thank you so much Keith, I am happy you like them! It means a lot πŸ’›πŸ˜πŸ’›

You are very welcome, @lenasveganliving! :-)

I love all the pictures! They are really beautiful flowers!!!

Thank you so much Dear Sreypov, you are so sweet πŸ’–πŸ™πŸ’–

Such vivid colours @lenasveganliving. Your pictures are so beautiful, I can almost smell the sweet scent of each flower. I agree that it is very sad how dandelions get pulled out. They are a very special flower. And, what many don't understand, they have amazing healing properties! I wish dandelions grew on our homestead. Sadly I have to buy the dried herbs which most would consider a weed.

Thank you so much Sweetie! You are absolutely right, Dandelions have healing properties too and I remember my grandmother used to make dandelion syrup πŸ’›πŸŒΏπŸ’›

These are lovely. Just planted some wildflowers at my sister's house. Hoping they bloom in the next 3-4 weeks!

Thank you so much! I am glad you like it. We will be planting after the middle of May. We were having still frost at night here in Toronto area.

We've had some colder weather down in Alabama too.
