It's very exciting finding something like this and forming a picture in your mind of what it could look like. Discovering good wood underneath those layers of varnish was a bonus. I was thinking of tossing it a while back as it took up a lot of space in the ex-games / now store room! It looks way better there than the divan did, and is more useful as well.

As I've cleaned out (over and over) through the years, I would ask myself if I thought I would use an item anymore and if it not and it was still good, I would donate it to a charity store, which is always a great idea here. In the last number of years though, there are more questions asked (in my head) before it goes. One is, is there anything else I can use it for instead and the next is, could I turn it into some neat sort of yard art? It's kind of fun taking things a little further if possible.
