These were taken by my dad and his friend during a trip to Mt Baker in the North Cascades Mountain Range of Washington state for a ski jumping event. I couldn't find much information on the internet but from what I understand for a few years there was an annual 4th of July ski jump here in the late 40's and 50's.

My dad. I wish he was still around to talk about these adventures with me but I know he would be happy that these photos are being shared. 😍

Oh nice old photos. Why are they wearing normal clothes in snow (shorts and tank top)? I tried skiing once and it was very cold. Had to wear skiing gear on top of my clothes.
It was the 4th of July. High in the mountains but probably fairly warm in the sun.
