RE: As The Fiery Sun Sets Tonight

in Silver Bloggerslast year

We've gotten lots of snow the past 24 hours! We had no hint of winter's sway, it slammed in on us with a vengeance. I haven't even pulled up the last of my beets and onions, now frozen in the ground.

Enough about me, I love your poems. That short one is lovely, Molly is a welcome sight on this snowy night.

SNOW!!!! Ugggg... Do you live in the great lakes area? I can't remember. I like beats with a little butter and salt. yummy.

I will miss Molly this winter when the nights are cold, but will not miss shoveling her an area to pee and poop in. lol.

One winter I had suddenly blind dog. She'd pretty much spent all day outside before she lost her sight. That winter, I shoveled paths in the deep snow so that she could easily navigate, by herself, outside my house. You just reminded me of her, my Solimar. She was a fabulous creature. I miss her.

I live south of Buffalo and Rochester, almost on the border of Pennsylvania. This was a freakily early snow though, and deep enough for the plow guy to come. So cold!!!
