I haven't been on a bus for many years my friend. In fact I hate traveling on a bus and I rather hitchhike when my car has problems. Imagine when there are 3 flatulent passengers at the front.

I remember the smells in out school bus and also in the train because smoking was allowed back then. But my main reason for hating to travel on bus or train is that it's boring to me. Maybe for the first minutes it's exciting to watch the landscape moving by so fast, but then it gets boring, and they stop all the time and it takes ages to get where you want to go 💤

Oh yeah, we had a school bus that transported the learners every day and my sister was in the same school as me. So every day I used to give her my school case to take on the bus and I would travel on my bicycle.
You found it boring and I hated the chatter. The smells were another matter and the drag on the trip with all of the stops did indeed take ages.

In primary school I had to walk for 5 minutes only, but later it would have been too far to go by foot or even to ride my bike. So I had to go by bus and train 😏

Your story is almost the same as mine, as I walked to primary school, but later I could cycle a few kilometers to the big school 😊
