Typing a post with one hand and taking photos through the window with the other hand.
Now what do you think that this little Cape White-eye was waiting for?
I had an operation on Wednesday and did this post now on Thursday (Scheduled for Friday).
In preparing for the hospital stay, I scheduled posts for Wednesday and Thursday, but not for Friday, as I thought that I would be up and about again. Sadly my plan was bust, as the doctor insisted on a 24 hour hospital stay and oh, how I hated it. So now I am out and home again but I broke the bed rest rules to do a post for tomorrow.
Yes, I am a bit unsteady due to the medicines (a ton of it), but life goes on and waits for nobody.
Come and see.
This was what the White-eye was waiting for. A squirrel outside my window.
Marian planted some strawberry plants as she saw at the farms that squirrels like them and here below, we had our first customer. He found something.
Popped up on a concrete block to check his purchase out, but it was still green.
So he returned it by burying and planting it to grow into another strawberry bush for future use :)
Right, the squirrel was gone and the white-eye came down.
Of course he also kept an eye on the strawberries and for sure will be back when they are ripe.
Finally, this was the only late afternoon shot that I could get of the full moon before the clouds shut it down.
I apologize for not being ready to answer any replies yet, as right now after this I am off to bed again. Just wanted to place a post for Friday, as I don't want to break my post per day system.
Stomach churning, head spinning, and trying to get rid of the after-effects of the anaesthetics. Those things always keep me "clouded" for a number of days after the operation. And then there are all the added aches and pains, and required healing.
So, I hereby want to thank you for your support during my absence, and all blessings to each of you.
Hope you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.
And That's All Friends.

Thank you and yes, one has to plan for these eventualities and I scheduled posts for Wednesday and Thursday, as I thought that I would be back on Thursday. But I forgot to do a post for Friday and that's why I just had to come and do a post, so I simply pushed the pain aside !LOL
I will get the hunters on camera when they appear.

Hahaha..
How possible can this be. Lolz. It is not really easy to catch a bird on lens only if you have a good lens and dont scare it away. Great shots
I take most of my photos with one hand and thank goodness my hand is still very steady.
Easy to get birds if you know how.
I salute you, even though you are still sick, you still don't want to go through your post, I have to learn with your seriousness in hive.
I hope you get well soon, and can return to normal.
all the posts you share are perfect with squirrels and birds.
I hope your days will get better
Good to see that your smaller garden still attracts the wildlife.
The after effects of anaesthetic is never pleasant. Hope you soon make a complete recovery.
