Simple, run into the countryside to sort your mind out.
Our minds get filled with black sludge in this life, fears and doubts try to control it and it becomes a real snake pit at times.
Ancient people discovered the healing powers of nature by living off the the land and ever since then, we have gradually started to complicate life. Complicated it so much that today we have to live on tablets and medicines to keep ourselves functioning.
Innovation is what they call it and also progress and other words to explain the hunt for more comfort and speed. So sadly the rat race is starting to change into a steam roller.
I am reminded here about a song by Kris Kristofferson, On a Sunday Morning coming down, wishing that I was stoned.
As we continue to look for alternatives to still our racing minds.
So if you are hassled, come and take a drive with us to see the true healer called Mother nature.
The black strip that you see is a strawberry land and the plantings are covered by black strips of plastic to keep the moisture in.
Mother nature sent her employees in to clean the resting land. They are from the Guinea fowl nation.
Oh yeah, after spending a bit of time out in the countryside one can return to the struggle that they call life with a clear mind.
We find the excursions into the countryside of great benefit, as working with the poor and seeing their suffering can drive a person to madness.
Our life is totally unbalanced between the haves and the have nots and this same problem exists all over the world.
Those that do want to correct this are blocked by the established haves fearing that they will lose control of the profits and riches. A sure recipe for disaster, as sooner or later the establishment will be drowned in riots and rebellions by those that struggle to find food. I fact it is already happening and let's hope that Hive and crypto will bring lasting changes to the current sick system.
Yay and that's my moan for the day. Hope that you will agree with me.

I have to agree with you Mother Nature is the true healer, and you have such beautiful scenes there, great medicine for the mind body and soul
Make no mistake as you also have many beautiful scenes there JJ and your photos are always masterfully composed. Glad that you see nature in the same way as me.
Yes indeed I am fortunate to have moved here
And that is indeed something we do have in common a love of nature and getting out and enjoying it
Well it has now been a long time since your retirement and I always knew that you would handle the new life well.
Oh yeah and our mutual friend @johannpiber is the same.
Ohh yes we’re three if a kind in so many ways
A very nice and simple way to put how dependant we are and will be on mother nature and mother land, or as the south american ancestor's decendents call it: "La pacha mama"
Take care... Thanks @papilloncharity for gifting us with those very refreshing pics.
Thank you and yes, it is so simple that a child can understand it.
I am glad that you liked the post and hope that you will have a good weekend.

Owww Nature can indeed heal our mind. Take away our stress, and put our minds into the here and now. Though nature can (or better said: does) have said effect on me, I spend way too little time in nature. Note to self: Seek rest in nature more often.
That said, one way for me to rewind is to go to listen to music, preferable at some outdoor music festival. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity again (after two years no such events) to experience the most beloved festival I ever came across in the world. A week in length. 5 days of non-stop music. Art everywhere. Fantastic peeps. Enormous great atmosphere. The idea to keep curating for HIVE, bringing the laptop and all, was ditched within a few hours after my arrival. A true off-grid week it became.
That place you visited looks next to beautiful, sounds to me like a place I could lose my mind to total disconnect from the daily realities 😉
Yep, Mother nature is my personal psychiatrist and nothing beats going to see her.
The last time that I went to a music festival was in the late 70s to a festival that was called "The Battle of the Bands". Some of my friends invited me and they had a band called "Band of Gypsies".
Surprisingly they won the contest and the leader said that I was their lucky charm 😁
So you had an off-line week and it is much needed from time to time just to recharge your batteries.
Maybe you should consider doing it more often as the stresses in this life can certainly build up to mountain size in one's mind.
Take care and hope that you will have a good weekend.

WOW, your last music festival is more than 3 decades ago? I can only advise you to find cosy ones and restart enjoying music, peeps and atmospheres. I think I'll never stop doing so. Next weekend 3-day thingy which will be offline again. And the week after a 4-day one again 🎶 Mucho recharging ahead 😉 I agree, we need more offline moments in our lives.
So nice your friends won the battle and all because of you! 🥳 Now you got me curious. Tell me more about the festival and your experiences. Back then I was already alive and kicking but just not old enough for such events.
Nope, it's more than enough for me to listen to the radio every day. So enjoy your festivals.
It was not because of me as he meant it as a joke. The festivals in those days were held Woodstock style and rock music was the name of the game. So it was very much anything goes.
Sometimes I wished I was born just a tat earlier so I could've enjoyed the 70s as well.
But ok, all eras have their charm 😉
Thanks, I certainly will enjoy 🙇

Stunning photography of your beautiful world Zac! I totally agree with you that a walk in mother nature is the best tonic AND tranquilizer yet. It costs nothing except precious time, well spent though!
Hope you and Marion are keeping well :)
Thank you milady. Also with regards to getting out into nature as it is very healthy.
As you know time is always very short for us, but we simply force the time to allow us a spell in nature every, or most days.
Yes, thank you we are well and I hope that you guys are too.
