The moon was awesome here too, Joan. There were a couple hurricanes stirring in the Atlantic. Luckily they missed us but one called Idalia made landfall in Florida, U.S. and left an terrible destruction. This hurricane came when super moon was closest to the earth and with the moon's gravitational pulls the tides are even higher. This affects and makes the storm surge worse than normal. Otherwise beautiful moon to view.
Did read about Idalia, seaboard would have larger affect by tides especially being happening during a hurricane. Our Western shores also encountering some extreme weather conditions, here on the East coast it was clear for a change.
