I went in to HMV a couple of days back, I am exploring shops again now that I am capable of going out on my own again, (my partner says I was never, really capable) and I took a look at the vinyl section and WOW!!!
Some of those LP's are like £40, that blew my mind.
Yup the BT phonecards started as plain green, then they started adding designs and making limited edition ones, it felt like something that came, went, and got forgotten in a heartbeat. There were several other examples I was going to include in the post but as usual I wrote way too many words, too fast and knew the post would be virtually unfinishable for the poor exhausted reader, if I kept on.
Newspapers though, wow! They are now the thickness of a slice of wafer thin ham and full of ads, rather than any actual news, and for this you pay a genuine price premium akin to a deposit on an apartment in Mayfair.
I hope you are doing amazing and looking forward to the Summer, it is so close, I can almost feel that warm rain and balmy cloud cover! 😁
