A football match just kicked off and it is my beloved Rangers played the return leg at home in the Europa League. We went to Turkey an walloped the Special One 3-1 so we are halfway to qualifying for the last 8...
Yeah nervy times, but too many people write us off in Europe. We got to the final a couple of years ago and lost on penalties.
That is by the by. Or is it bye the bye ... No no trust your gut it is by the by!
Hahahaha The ref has booked one of the Turkish team for diving haha ... cheating fluffers, now he is booking a member of Fenerbahce's coaching squad!

But first, let me show you something else that I did indeed Savour!
Cheltenham
This is Cheltenham week and the biggest week in the British horse racing calendar.
Every day this week, Paddy Power have been handing out free five pound bets to customers online.
I have been participating daily with some success.
I ordered the food and logged into my Paddy Power bookmakers account.
GIDDY UP!
Hell yeah, I won £66 🎉, what is that about $85 or so...?
I studied the form and picked my horse...
Ironically I think of Hive as my Daily Present so when I saw the horse and that it had pretty reasonable formed, it was not a first place winner but was placed in six of it's last races.
So I put my bet as an each way bet, meaning half the stake goes on it to come in first, and the other half to be placed i.e. come in second, third or fourth.
The best bit I did say it was a free bet...
So although I did stake my £5 to win that £66, as you can see I was given that free money!
The odds for the horse to win were 22/1
Yes it was an outsider, but this is what life is about, often the outsiders come out on top!
If I had put all £5 on for Daily Present to come in first, it would have probably come in second and I would have won diddly fucking squat!
So yes, thank you Paddy Power for paying for our chicken dinner tonight!
Actually it was a fluffing extreme hot chicken dinner complete with rice and chips and four dips.
It really is tasty, and we have wings left over for lunch tomorrow!
Sometimes I do think my mug of coffee says it all....
I had a beer with dinner, but now I am a bag of nerves so it is coffee.
it is still 0-0 on the night on 40 minutes and we have a minutes applause for Christopher Potter a 40 year old fan who last week was run over by two cars in Istanbul and tragically died whilst travelling to watch the mighty Glasgow Rangers. Christopher leaves a wife a wee boy named Teddy.
RIP Christopher Potter
A reminder that life can be taken in a fleeting second.

It's nice not have to do the cooking sometimes isn't it? I wish I could afford to do it more, but living on a budget is part of life sadly!
Yeah budgeting is a pain, and getting takeaways are not cheap anymore, or at least not anyway. So once in a while is cool, especially if it is effectively free!
The food looks pretty delicious. My wife and I have had nights like that was well where we just decide to pick something up or eat out. It doesn't happen often, but it's always a treat when it does.
Yeah it is a treat for sure. Sometimes the only worry is when you order something and it is a let down lol. But these chicken guys are awesome!

My team lost the game, but it was a tie over the two legs and it went to a penalty shootout... And we won! So progressed to the last 8!

What a laugh this post gave me, Ed!!!! You really are a soccer fanatic! I imagine you with a chicken thigh in your hand chanting the opposing team's fouls and I laugh!!!! You're going to have to give me the tip on that betting site to see if I win anything. Any extra money is never a bad thing, even if it's just to buy chicken or pizza. Well I a Rangers fanatic, we have a saying RTID Rangers Till I Die, so other football I am not that bothered about, but Rangers yeah it is a religion!
