Congrats on 8 years. I too have seen so many create for rewards site burn and crash over the years. Even though I have been here for 3 years I still can't get my head around the rewards at times or that content will always be visible.
Great achievement though and glad you write in our community day in day out for the most part.

Thanks! These days, I think what makes me happiest about Hive — aside from the cool people encountered along the way — is that it IS proving to be very resilient and durable. Maybe it'll even be here long enough that the grandkids can read about my life and times, should they choose to.
Maybe that's just vanity speaking, or maybe it's the experience of looking at old photos, but knowing little of the actual stories that go with them.
I have been burnt too many times with sites that vanish over the years that I have pictures / memories up etc that I was reticent to on Hive.
The fact it is resilient is the biggest appeal now. you can show people look this was written 8 years ago and you can still read it etc.
